Building a leather stitching pony

Watch me take scrap bits and pieces and repurpose them to make a leather stitching pony.
Sure, I know I could have bought one online for not very much at all, but that isn't the point. I enjoyed every part of this little project, figuring out how to make something without a plan can be a little risky but it is a great feeling when it works.

Thanks, it does work well, just keep track of your thread while you stitch and it shouldn’t catch up on you

Всегда удивляло , почему вы все делая шорники пружину используете не в обратную сторону , она бы стягивала губы шорника а освободить заготовку можно тремя пальцами разжав его изнутри

просто надо расчитать силу пружины или двух пружин + они будут внутри и с наружи не за что не будет цеплятся нитка , не нужно мастерить лишние крутилки @@tonyhiggo1231

Like your ingenuity on the cam , but as you’ve probably figured out anything sticking out is a thread grabbing monster. I’ve rebuilt mine or modified it several times over the years to keep from getting tangled.
