How was your transition from eFoiling to wakefoiling? I’m an avid eFoiler looking to get into boat/jet ski work. Did you find the two similar, different, etc?

The transition wasn't too difficult, granted I would recommend a large area mid to low aspect wing to start out. Getting up behind the boat/jetski only took about 15 attempts to learn, not much different than wakesurfing other than the weight transfer. Way different feeling than efoiling when you are in a wave though. In the wave you have to find the power, which is also dependent on how high you are on the mast and where you are in the wave. Efoiling, of course, you always have the power so its less dynamic in that aspect. Classic hydrofoiling is so much fun though, you will have a blast! What kind of efoil do you have and what kind of classic hydrofoil are you looking at getting?

@@FoilFanatic42 Awesome, thanks for the reply! I currently ride a 4’2 Lift with 32” mast and 210 camber/150 surf (conditions depending) with 36 tail. Looking at getting a slingshot foil/board combo since I hear they’re a great starter for beginners or different foiling transitioners.

@schulzaboy77 Absolutely! That sounds like a fun efoil setup, and the slingshot infinity series is definitely a good choice in my opinion when you're first learning and even when you want to get more advanced. Good luck!
