@@uckbee thanks. It's my most addictive Genesis album and among a year with a ton of classic records, it does stand out in a lot of ways. Kind of the perfect length and less being more in a lot of ways.
All of you really need to check out the latest Katatonia album. It is a masterwork.

I suggest Renaissance, Ashes Are Burning. Not their best album, but their sound, their symphonic style was created.

Another nomination for Renaissance "Ashes Are Burning" from me, second only to "Scheherazade And Other Stories" in this amazing band's catalogue.
Roxy Music "For Your Pleasure" should have been in there and Todd Rundgren's "A Wizard A True Star".

I may be in the minority here, but I’d love to see some recognition this year for the 50th anniversary of Magma’s third (and most famous) album Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh. It’s the album that launched them into international fame and spread the influence of zeuhl around the world.
