I honestly could live off of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Bros Wonder. Those games are just perfect
The Switch is pretty much the only console I actively still collect for. It’s a perfect hybrid for retro and modern gaming, and I’ve reached a point in my retro collecting where I just want to downsize. I don’t have much left for most consoles anymore except my complete Atari 7800 collection, TG16/CD collection which is nearly complete, and my original GameBoy Collection which is approaching 150 games. Those are the 3 I owned growing up, so it’s fitting that those are what remain. Switch gives me something new and exciting while also giving me great retro remasters/remakes, and ports to allow me to downsize my other collections.
I have around 110 switch games last I checked, some are collections with multiple games on them. It is so fun to collect for and watch those skinny cases build up 😂. There’s so many games it’s insane, I keep finding more games lol.
@@mo_musashi_284 yeah I seen a video about that, it’s a shame not all 7 games are on the cart, but that’s a lot either way. It’s good collection though. Appreciate the info though.
We watched your old NES collection video at lunch time and had Switch collection waiting for us at dinner time. Maybe we'll watch SNES for midnight snack.
I’ve grown my collection by 20 games this past month. Definitely going to add the Psikyo collection as I love shmups. Thanks for the recommendation. Keep up the great work! New sub here.
You guys have such an awesome collection! Haven't decided whether I want to collect physically for the Switch or not. The carts have such a short shelf-life and the prices for physical, especially LimitedRun stuff is getting so high that I don't think it's worth it anymore. Very cool to see such a broad collection though. Also I would definitely recommend playing the original Panzer Dragoon over the remake. They really bungled it in my opinion. Cheers.
That was cool to see your Switch game collection. You guys motivated me to buy a Switch a few months ago. I’m playing Metroid Prime Remastered, great game.
I've spent so much money on physical Switch games this year! There was some bangin' deals over Thanksgiving, including Pocky and Rocky for $12 on Amazon. It's so much fun collecting for the console and retro has taken a back seat for a bit. It's easy to double dip on some of the indie games to own physical copies. I hope Nintendo has a card slot on their next console for backwards compatibility...thanks for showing the goods, fellas!
In years to come the switch will be known as one of the great consoles for collecting and discovering hidden gems, truely one of the best consoles of all time.
Little tip for Radiant Silvergun...be sure to play it as a 3 button game, where you use two buttons at once for the alternate firing modes...it was a 3 button game in the arcade and its so good played that way...trying to set 6 buttons up for the various shots just doesn't work.
Hey Wes and Robert, love the channel. The hockey game you are referring to is Super Blood Hockey. It is a game on the switch. Yes your players can die, and best part is the players come from a prison. So it’s like the Longest Yard but for Hockey. Haha. Cheers!
Switch Game Recommendation: 'Slain: Back From Hell' It's by the makers of Valfaris. Similar in design, but more forgiving with Death Metal music and imagery as well as gore, baby!
I'm all about the Switch. It was by far my favorite console of when compared to PS4 and Xbox One. Now that the next gen is out, I think I still play it more. I have around 200 physical games for it so far.
Great video! I love how majority of the game themes are the retro style games. Exactly what I keep my Switch for. Thanks for the Psikyo recommendation, that is BADASS! 🤩 Running to Amazon now 😂
I know its a little off topic for this video, but it is a part of your "why physical is important" discussions. Just discovered my local library system has games to check out ranging from Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, Switch, PS4, XB1, PS5, XBS including some really new stuff like MW3 and Mario Wonder. Its like having a FREE game pass for all my gaming systems!
I like that your collection has a bit more emphasis on run & gun and shmups I don't see these showcased too often. Also gotta give the rpgs some more love 😍😁
The nintendo switch is great for Shoot em ups!..... I don't know how you guys played them. But you should definitely try and flip your HD TV and play the vertical ones on a vertical display. It makes a huge difference, it's a lot of fun! And most of the vertical shooters have that option on the switch🤘🕹🎮🍻. Cheers great video guys!
Love the Switch and have played through so many great games. I just wish I had more time to make a dent in my backlog. Some recommendations for you: Freedom Planet, Kaze and the Wild Masks, Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, Salt and Sanctuary, and Streets of Rage 4.

Idk, I keep seeing that Mario skin on your Switch. I was just thinking that they should make a Mario game w all the old worlds from every game called Mario: Time Warped. Granted, we have that w Mario Maker, but its not a story n not true Mario levels. I just feel a time warped game w Mario would be sweet.
I know it might not be your genre but gotta say visual novel fans be eatin real good on switch. Recommend Witch on the holy night for best vn on switch so far
hell yeah! i need to grab blazing chrome and Ultra core for sure. Thanks for mentioning Axiom Verge in a prior video. My copy just arrived yesterday and i’m going to start playing through it tonight.
Double Dragon Neon is a slower paced beat-em-up but very satisfying. Use Training Wheels and Hurricane Kick until you get the feel for Dodge -> Counterattack. Once you are comfy with the Gleam system explore other builds & skills.
Dam Thank you, with so many game out there it hard to keep up. I definitely got some games from your collection on my shopping list collection because of this video.
