I use my ricer to squeeze the juice out of the grated zucchini and freeze it to make soup. This works really well to get the moisture out of the zucchini.
@@doitveganThank you very much for the info. I used one measurement oat flour, one measurement flax powder and one measurement wheat flour. The result was very good.
Hi! I tried it tonight and they don't look anything like yours and they were soft when holding them with my fingers once cooked. My zucchinis were different sizes so, I tried to figure the numbers by eye, same with the carrots. Maybe an approximate quantity in a measuring cup or by weight would help to have a more accurate result? I had to add much more chickpea flour than 3 table spoons. I cooked them 4 minutes on each sides and I'm not sure where I went wrong. When I pressed the juice out (and I used a cotton milk bag), there was more than what you got in the video (maybe I had too much grated zucchini/carrots. I used a grater similar to yours and the same side and I find the grated carrots were bigger. Any idea what I could do differently? The taste was good but the texture no so pleasant. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi! Many thanks for your comment. I think that maybe your veggies contained more water or were bigger, I guess it can be for different factors. Next time add more chickpea flour and cook them at medium flame so they get hard and golden. I hope this helps and so sorry it didn't work for you. 💚
@@doitvegan Thank you for responding quickly. I will try to adjust the veggie quantity first. Maybe a little less. I thought I squeezed a lot of liquid. However if the veggies are really, really out of juice, isn't it going to be difficult to make the mixture hold together even if I add more chickpea flour and with more flour isn't it going to have a dry flour feeling in the mouth? Maybe if I great them finer it would make a difference?! Something to try. 🙂

Delicious, but I think it would have been quite bland if I hadn't added mixed herbs and onion power. A nice quick recipe thank you

What are the other alternatives to chickpea flour? Can I use corn flour instead? Thanks for the recipe.
You can use oat flour instead :)
