- The map shows the top trending Google searches for every state of India. Trending searches from 2010 to 2020 were taken from Google's annual Year in Search summary and then Google Trends was used to get region-specific information per year.
Google Trends provides relative search interest for every search term, along with the interest by state. Using these two datasets for each term, we're able to calculate the relative search interest for every state for a particular month.
India in Pixels is India's first data visualization focused channel creating infographics and visualizations to create data grounded conversations accessible to millennials and GenZ.
