Absolutely blowing my mind here. I ran into Chris while in this same range and he got me way too stoked to hunt and shot a amazing buck. Love the video, great quality, does justice.
The cinematography in your films is always second to none. This film is incredible and you all are setting yourselves apart in this industry. LOVE IT!!!
Just got out of that range muley hunting and saw your tag in the cabin. Had to come find this video. Good job boys, that climb in and out is some of the most brutal around. Props on the sheep!
What an amazing video. Having just lost my father, It was great seeing the entire family be able to be part of this hunt. It was truly inspiring and further pushes me to experience more with my kids every day! Well done!
Thanks so much! Very sorry for you loss. It is a great thing to be passed down from generation to generation. Such incredible memories to be made out in these places.
I watched this a couple weeks ago and couldn't stop thinking about this hunt. Had to watch this again. Thanks for being real about the hunt. Only one page of the book is harvesting the animal. Reminds me of hunting mule deer here in NW Wyoming.
Wow, I’m going to need to watch this again. Great filming and solid story. Wish it was longer but understand how much work and dedication goes into filming plus being in stalk mode. Awesome stuff, look forward to seeing more
Great video man, I love hunting and seeing you hold off on those immature rams is a great lesson to all, respect the animal and keep grinding, you're commitment and hard work really paid off
Thanks dude! ya, really respected Devon for that decision and made it an even better story to tell. Really thankful for the experience of capturing that decision making process!
Thanks Neil! yes agreed, if there was one way I would have shot it differently it would be to get more footage of the ram both before and after the shot.
Amazing film! I have a ton of appreciation for the work you've put in to make this piece. Quick question, I'm assuming you're using ND filters during daylight. Your image looks really soft and not very harsh, which the cloud cover helps with. Are you also using any diffusion filters to soften the skin and harsh light? It looks amazing! Keep up the good work
Great job, great diy effort. Thanks for posting. To often these videos seem to be about the hunter not the hunt especially guided ones where the hunter pretends the outfitter guides, planes and horses had nothing to do with their success.
Thank you! Haha just a creative decision. We all set out in the same area targeting different animals and split up part way through. It was my attempt at telling a story of "success" and "failure" along side each other.
Great work and good story! I appreciate and am thankful for your efforts- brings back good memories of my first ram experience. I am curious- are you natives of BC, and if so, how often can you draw a bighorn tag? Do you have the opportunity to hunt other sheep as well? Again, great stuff! Best wishes!
Thanks David. We are BC residents and extremely lucky with the hunting opportunities we have. We have the opportunity to hunt bighorn and thinhorn over the counter every year. This tag was on a draw system, with odds less than 1% in most of those.
@fargonemedia Man. This is a stunning video. Thanks for sharing this. Couple haters gave this a thumbs down. They clearly didn’t get or didn’t cut their sheep tags lol. Keep up the awesome work!
@@fargonefilms "Loudest boos come from the cheap seats" - Babe Ruth. Excellent film guys well done. Pay no mind to the haters that probably haven't created or produced anything in their entire lives.
This channel deserves far more subs. Great cinematography and storytelling.

Fantastic boys!!! Love the double story concept. Well done on the ram sir!!! It ain't easy I'm sure!!!

Fantastic! Loved the concise storyline and the split between the two hunters. We sure do live in a beautiful place.
Thanks Erik! Yes we do!!

Definitely agree! We really wanted to capture the work that goes into these types of hunts so I’m glad to hear you say that!

Ayy we appreciate that a lot! Yes the stalks are quite intense and a lot of work but so satisfying in the end!
I saw you your IG in Levi Allen's youtube videos and followed you there. Then I saw this! I'm not a hunter BUT the filmmaking is 10/10!
Thank dude! Appreciate you saying that. Super cool to hear from a non hunter perspective!

Loved the feel of the film. What cameras and picture profiles were you shooting with before your graded?
Thanks! Shot this on a Sony A7iii using PP10 (HLG2). Creates incredible dynamic range from such a small camera!
What mystery ranch is Devon using, awesome film thank you

Hey appreciate that!! Haha ya we really wanted to capture the full experience of the hunt and the hard work that goes into it! Glad that resonated!
Well done hunt. Well done production. I felt the emotion of the scene where the hunter is walking up on the downed sheep. Wow.
Love to hear that! Thanks so much for the encouragement!!
Great film! Keep up the great work!
Hey! thank you!!
Wow, great watch.
I knew the outcome and was still gripped! Great work.
Awesome to hear! Thank you!!
Wow great vid
Awesome film, congrats on the successful sheep hunt. Looking forward to more content.
Thanks! more on the way!!
Congrats and great hunt! Help me understand the random archery mule deer hunt intermittently thrown in.

You can bait deer in BC
Try coming up with something new.
Thanks dude! Any suggestions on what I could do better?
Quit doing the same as everybody else
