- A Full Measure is not only the story of a life changing sheep hunt in the Brooks range of Alaska, it's an introduction to Eberlestock's founder Glen Eberle. Olympian, former fighter pilot and founder of Eberlestock.
Glen has achieved more than most during his life, none of which has lessened his desire to 'Get Out There' and find adventure wherever he can.
In short, this film is about Glen proving he has yet to give his Last Full Measure of effort.

Whoever you had film this needs a raise.
They did a phenomenal job!
Way to put our gear to the test. Congrats on a great hunt.
Thank you! They were extremely well!
The only scope I put on any of my rifles.
Outstanding!
Thank you! Cheers!
What a well told story. Glenns narration was perfect, the shots and editing were amazing. What an adventure!
i don't know how many years i have had my eberlestock pack. It is Many! It has packed lots of gear, trapping equipment, and many, many times come home empty. But on those rare successful occasions i have filled my pack with as much as my back and legs can bare and come out heavy. I have packed out bear, elk, moose and fur. Squeezed, pushed, pulled every strap to my physical limit. Zero things have broke, ever! The zippers, clips, buckles and straps are all original!!!! It is a beast. The only thing i did different was cut off the pack gun scabbard and added a front holster mount to sling my rifle in front of me off the shoulder straps. The pack scabbard didn't work for me because i am too short (not the pack's fault).
This video was fantastic. Great narration. The slow mo kill shot was epic. The spotter did a great job calling the first shot low, allowing for an ideal follow up. Glen fly's his own Beaver float plane! That is bad ass! Love the sound of the fat radial motor on the front of the Beaver. Iconic plane!
Glad to hear how much you enjoyed the video and our product! Thanks for rocking it with us!
Men amongst Sheep. Quit the metaphor in today's world. Well done.
gorgeous, enjoyed it.
Thank you!
Great Video Glenn
Breathtaking scenery. Thanks for taking us along on the hunt , and thanks for some great gear from Eberlestock. Magnificent ram
I came across Eberlestock a decade ago. I knew I wanted one, but I didn't know why and I couldn't afford one back then. Now that I've made my bones over and over and have a dozen deer under my belt, I decided to pull the trigger on one and got myself an RMEF Team Elk. It was a difficult pack to learn, but once I got it out there for a few sits, it all began to settle in and I can't see myself "not" taking it out for any hunt. It's intuitive to me now, like an appendage and every time that I get it out there and kick back and look at it, sometimes with my rifle sitting on it, I just know I did the right thing and my interest for other rigs went away.
I can reach into it without looking while I have my eyes on game and pull out what I need from it. I can swing it over my back and know that it's going to settle in right and carry well. This is the one, this decade+ old design that Eberlestock got right that far back. It's obvious that hunters put this pack together. It's felt in every aspect of the pack.
One more thing, it's difficult to keep my interest in anything on RUclips these days for more than a couple of minutes, but once I clicked on this, I stayed with it to the end just thinking about my next hunt in a couple of weeks. Great stuff.
We really appreciate you taking the time to write a great review of the pack and your experience with it! Thank you, and we are glad you enjoyed the video!
Good job Glen. Turned out great. It was cool seeing you fly over the camp in your beaver on your way out.

Nice touch Glen, great gear and ethos. My Grandma was an Eberle, we may share some DNA certainly with the hunting gene! Regards from NZ

Helluva video.
That guy almost broke your back congratulating you.
Just watched this vid and have great respect for your constant improvement on your gear. I will invest in your gear. On Hands Gear OHG
What pack were you using on this hunt?
Neat video, Why does the moose in the end look like he is limping........?
Thank you and unsure!
👌👌👍👍
Pack set-up looks like an F1 Mainframe with a 7500 Vapor pack? What Rifle holder did you use? If so this is the setup I was considering.
There is also the Zip on Dry Bag. They used the Bolt action Scabbard for gun carry
Yes, F1 plus Vapor 7500 + A2LS scabbard. Worked great!
What kind of bingo harness/ holster is the guide wearing?
It’s our Recon Bino Harness system
The bino harness is the Eberlestock Recon. It has a MOLLE panel accessory for the attachment of whatever holster you prefer.
Could somebody tell me about the shot placement of the first shot? Was that a bit to low?
Yes, it was 584 yards across a canyon with a hard diving wind from the left. I read the wind right and was pleased with the hit, but it did hit a little aft and low. So I corrected off the first hit and the second was a solid heart shot. I'm not an advocate for long range hunting, but I've done enough long range shooting that I was confident that I would get a clean kill on the sheep. I wish it would only have taken one shot (and the first shot actually would have killed him), but two makes it certain. -- Glen E.
He has pilot voice.
What pack are you carrying? Team elk?
They are the F1 mainframe and Vapor 5000's and Zip On Dry Bags
What an amazing kill
What calibre?
That is a .300 PRC!
What if you leave with two sixes?
Too funny.
I want to love their gear. But it’s like KUIU clothing. It just doesn’t fit. At least for me. I bought one backpack and my only complaint is that my gear just wouldn’t fit. If you must have an Eberle. I recommend buying the pack first and then finding the gear that will fit.
What pack did you get where your gear did not fit? We have a wide variety and sizes of packs both in our mission and hunting sections.
Took me until the 7 minute mark to realize this was a commercial and not a cool video. Buddy been hiking the Alaskan mountains for days with no sling on the rifle and clean pants...LOL.
Yes, with our pack system, he had enough room to bring extra clothes and with our integrated scabbard, he doesn't need a sling to rifle carry!
