Devin congrats on the ram Nicely done you put in the sweat for it doing that grinder of a Zombie walk. It's awesome to see it on RUclips. Take care Marty.!
@@comeoutheavyhunting8836 You took a longer contour around the back for the pack out, the creek bottom must have been nasty. looking back was it the right call ?
@@Gpenninga ya the creek on the way in was steep and rugged opted to battle brush on the way out and also see what the access was like that way as well since it was our first time in there
@@Gpenninga not totally sure we could've gotten out of that creek bottom if it was raining Steep, rocky with some routes. We likely would've made it, but it would've been a sketchy and exposed climb.
Great two part video wish i was 30 years younger, in the first video you said you were running a liner in your boot can you explain what that is for me a different pair socks or what exactly is it… beautiful Ram and my do they blend in and hard to see. I had started watching this a while back and got I interrupted and finally found it again now a sub so will see all your stuff… what make of water filtration are you running?
sorry for the delayed response ... it was hunting season. I used the lorpen t2 liner sock with a pair of darn tough socks. I think the darn toughs were a boot height, full cushion. Before the hunt, I trained on a 2000 vertical ft hiking trail. I changed socks and boots on that hike 6 or 7 times. Best option every time was the darn tough with lorpen liner. We use the platypus gravity works. Just brought a dirty and clean back but packed a extra filter just in case.
nice Beautiful old ram hard earned and weell deserved , congratulations great video and awesome country ,

Amazing ram, hoping to try for my first in the next couple years. How many km did you guys go in approximately, looked like a brutal packout!
I think around 12 km in
Absolutely awesome hunt guys .. what happened with the shot ?
Anchored him with the first one and then tried to follow up with a few more with no luck, the first one did the trick!
Great Ram! - What did the CI age him at?
9yrs old officially
Killers kill. Well done fellas.
This is an awesome capture of your hunt! Congrats fellas. What was the final age? 10?
Came in at 9. We had though possibly he was into his 20th year as well.
