Little more of a challenge, then the couch warrior driving down to Walmart, and breaking out his gov. assistance card. Beautiful!

It’s always lefties who judge others, it’s always lefties who wants to forbid everything they don’t like, it’s always lefties who use feelings as facts, and it’s always lefties who’s behind bad things that happening to nature and wildlife.
Lefties should be put out of their misery so that the rest of the world can thrive.
Whaling is part of the life circle, hunting is part of it, it’s both lifestyle and conservation.
A hunter take care of wildlife, being a part of it, relying on it, needing it.
    Great and important film Jim.
Greetings from Norway, a land of whaling too.

This is absolutely amazing. Beautiful people, their culture and how they respect the land as well as being Grateful for everything that the land gives them. The world has forgotten this!!! We ALL NEED TO BE MORE HUMBLE!! And take care of the Land/earth as well as each other!! The whole world can learn a big lesson by watching this video and these people who are absolutely amazing how they respect each other and everything around them. This just made me want to be a better human being just from watching this video. God bless all you out there in Point Hope Alaska, and thank you. I enjoyed learning about you and will do better.

I completely agree it is part of their culture and is a good thing. What I don't is the way it's done now isn't culture using modern weapons, boats snowmobiles ect. This is the same for tribes in MN and WI such as walleye spearing. I want to see it continue but there is too much abuse I see it every year. With 4 strokes, electric trolling motors ,high power spotlights it's too easy and the limits are too high. It's too easy, there's so,e restrictions but they get a mistake fish that always ends up being way too big, giant muskys get speared because they can, they don't get used. Incredible wanton waste. Netting same thing tons of bycatch just like alone throw on shore. When someone does give them away it's sickening to see mostly the big females 40 up to 48 inch pike all the spawners wasted. In 2 days a few years back 35 like all over 40 inches yet we find other things to blame on the fish being depleted. We need to change before it's too late. Up there in AK it's ok just due to low people and managing it. In the states it can't keep going at this rate.

    John 3:16 Context
13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Just because something has been done for a long time in a place that’s cold doesn’t make it reasonable. I bet Jim wouldn’t make a show about cannibalism.
