I cannot stand these Lexus fanboys bro... Look at the Infiniti's interior! The interior clearly screams flagship luxury.. "b-BuT mY ReLiAbiLiTy!" What reliability..? The V6 in the LX is having the same problems as the tundra while the QX80 is barely getting recalls.. If you want a Lexus SUV.. just go for an NX, RZ, or RX.. this LX is pointless.
We don't have the Qx80 in the Philippines but I would choose it over the lexus. I am a bit of a Lexus fan too but we have the Landcruiser 300 over here and the Lexus. It's a hard sell unless you want exclusivity since the Landcruiser is getting very common nowadays.
Reality: The QX80 is better in just about every way as shown in the comparison. Meanwhile, the LX has an engine that could completely fail... People in the comments: No brainer... The LX is the clear winner. Toyota quality over Nissan any day, resale blah blah blah... Moral of the story... Be open-minded. Just because something has always been, doesn't mean it will always be.
With Toyota failing with the new V-6 turbo engines is a problem with all the recalls so far. The Nissan/Infiniti took the engine out of a super reliable car the GTR and tune it for the SUVs. Time will tell if any other them have the reliability of the V8s
Moral of the story, it's way better value to buy the 2025 Nissan Armada Platinum Reserve, which is basically the same as this Infiniti QX80 Autograph and save $30,000...no mater how you see the QX80 Autograph, it's a no brainer that it does not worth $30,000 more than the new 2025 Nissan Armada Platinum Reserve. Same guy who has two different opinions on the same vehicle, obsess with one name plate Infiniti and hates the other name plate/Nissan from the same company...a very confused guy.
@@Tevin-w3c He is obsess with this vehicle and out there getting mad at anyone who has a different opinion. He can't handle that the new 2025 Armada is a better value and better looking than its far more expensive sibling the QX80...this Lexus they are comparing it to is already outdated, smaller and has been on the market for while now, while this Infiniti QX80 is brand new. This comparison is not even fair. A better comparison for the 2025 QX80 is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade and the 2025 Lincoln Navigator. Don't get me wrong, I love this QX80, but this guy is irrational.
Lexus should stretch the LX600 a bit, Give an option for a panoramic roof Like in the GX and change the interior dash to more like everyone else. Then it might be a winner. Infiniti did address almost everything in the new QX80 except automatic running boards. The problem with Infiniti is their the under brand Nissan has the Armada which is going give a better for money alternative for $83K versus $113K for the QX
Finally, someone has done a Lexus Lx600 comparison vs a Infinity Qx...been waiting so long for such a comparison. But what I can conclude from this is that, Lexus is selling reliability as a key attribute...looking at all those screens in the Qx80 and i Just can't imagine the frustration and expense of fixing them if they were not to work or all of a sudden go blank, especially with most of the car's controls integrated and dependent on the screen functioning. Also, having buttons as gears won't have many fans, i can tell you that. (I remember when land-rover introduced the rotary shifter that would sink into the console when switched off, yap, when it had problems and the gear dial didn't rise up as intended, it really frustrated people.)
Toyotas are "end-of-world" vehicles. The gripes about Toyota reliability was cried about the 4.7 & 5.7 the first 2 years until Toyota resolved those issues. People's memories are short & innately tied to emotion. If offroading or long term reliability aren't big drivers, choose the Nissan. Whether you buy Toyota or not they will still be in business 20 years from now.
I LOVE Lexus and probably would choose it over the Infiniti because it seems a little too flashy for me. However, the Infiniti is definitely far ahead of the Lexus in this comparison. Maybe if they compared the previous design Infiniti? 😂
Nice chit chat. I drive and very much like the LX600. With that said the Infiniti is beautiful and seems more contemporary. With everything, everyone said the numbers will reveal the truth as always. In 5 years, what they bring is the best and conclusive evidence of "how good" they are. If you're driving the Infiniti, it's gorgeous. Good luck. Do the rematch in 4 years, it would be interesting.
LX700h w/ the iforce max hybrid twin turbo v6 arrives next year with more power, Lexus did say if you want more room you can get the TX or Toyota Sequoia Capstone. The QX80 is a bigger vehicle than the LX about 10" longer, so of course you are gonna fit better in the 3rd row and have more room, technically QX80 goes against the Cadillac Escalade and Lincoln Navigator more than the LX, it's a standard size sunroof in the LX you don't need power operated shade, Lexus offers a executive vip package if you want the fancy seats in the back.
I DEEPLY respect Lexus quality and reliability (i've had 3). BUT it seems that the QX is the better choice. And no disrespect but these presenters are incredibly boring. I am watching this with my morning coffee and I nearly fell back to sleep.
Let's be honest here... ppl have a clear bias against Nissan/Infiniti, to the point it blinds them from the fact that Lexus put out a horrible product with this LX600... it's a far cry from where they used to be with the 570. the QX80 is a better product in every single way. seems as tho Lexus phoned it in and spent more money on the GX instead.
The lx is a waste of money compared to gx and it’s backwards reduced cargo space and interior room seats 7 instead of 8 and the third row is more cramped
After 10 years the lexus has lost a fraction in value compared to the Nissan/infinity that will be almost worthless. So from an economic standpoint, the choice is easy.
Infinity qx80 ❤

@@normanli7085
GX & TX are trash also
The sad truth is no one is buying the QX80 lol.
@@JJS432
And yet the new QX80 is already outselling the dated LX. 🤣😆
*QX80 - 7,408*
LX - 6,076
5-7yrs or 10yrs from now, the lexus is still gonna hold better value, easier to sell, and more desirable.
We don't have the Qx80 in the Philippines but I would choose it over the lexus. I am a bit of a Lexus fan too but we have the Landcruiser 300 over here and the Lexus. It's a hard sell unless you want exclusivity since the Landcruiser is getting very common nowadays.
LX is disappointing. Lexus is not what it used to be
Infiniti is far better. Lexus looks like it’s 2014 inside
2010*
The interior of the Lexus is exactly the same as the Hilux 😂, yet the price is astronomical, ranging between 43,000 and 46,000 dinars.
Nissan's interior looks more luxurious!
The Lexus already looks 10 years old inside.
There is a clear difference in sound insulation. The voice of the person driving the Infiniti is clear and there is no noise as in the Lexus

It’s just a car. Who cares that much
With Toyota failing with the new V-6 turbo engines is a problem with all the recalls so far. The Nissan/Infiniti took the engine out of a super reliable car the GTR and tune it for the SUVs. Time will tell if any other them have the reliability of the V8s
Indeed said bro, because they focus the Lexus now the worst reliability ever made with LX, while the Infiniti are not break down frequently

It literally just Toyota Vs Nissian
Genius 😮
Wow! You don't say.
Literally just machine vs machine
QX 80 looks better in almost every way, if you take the Lexus nameplate off.
That Infinity thou....❤❤❤
Im lost. He said the Lexus gives good road feedback, which he prefers but complains about road feedback on turns and bumps. Huh?
Finally Infiniti makes something worthy to take on Lexus. But it seems a little late when Nissan is about to be bankrupt
Honda begs to differ

No!, The LX has hydraulic suspension , not air.
Thanks had also wanted to point that out. It's coil springs with hydraulic shocks that take care of the height adjustment
I wish Lexus made a more bold interior. In terms of reliability, the Lexus will always win.
Lexus ❤❤❤❤
nice 3 row luxury family school bus
Between the two I'd get the infiniti but neither of these crack my top 3 I like the escalade, navigator, and bmw a lot more.
Infiniti QX80 is awesome❤❤❤❤❤

Qx80 😍
Look infinity is still new and the lx 600 is older but who would be better offroad ..lexus went for ruggedness instead of luxury

Mercedes Benz GLS is so much more fun and feature rich like Lexus.
Toyota Land Cruiser? Where is that?
Infiniti is going out of business. Sad to say. Bottom line says it all.

Lexus is the clear winner, not to me that Nissan is merging with Honda...a nightmare scenario
Only for Honda. For Nissan it's a huge step up from renault/Dacia! Let's hope Honda quality will rub off on Nissan and not the other way around.
@lise1255 Except it won't rub off
The cultures are very different.

@@lise1255 lol. Ever been through a merger?
Toyota Kills ☠️ Nissan ☠️
Except that the Toyota V6 has proven to be a complete POS eating rod bearings left and right.
A no-brainer. Toyota over Nissan, any day.
Ur right u have no brain
If you like spun rod bearings before 60k then yes great decision.
Not in this case. Infiniti wins in every way, including reliability.
Nissan now shaky!
So the Toyota for a man with a taste for luxury and the Infinity for a soccer mom... got it.
@adrianw3985
The Lexus LX is for a girly man who wants a dated off-roader & the Infiniti QX80 is for the mature stately man with class.... Checkmate.
