- Hi everyone in this tutorial I show you how to shoot panning photography images that will blur out the background to portray motion in your pictures. Thinking about getting A7ii for low light Street photography. Don't really have budget for A7iii, is A7ii still worth it?
Sure is but keep in mind some lenses have trouble focusing in low light especially adapted lenses. I mostly shoot with manual focus lenses and with focus peaking the a7ii is a dream to shoot with

Hi man, nice video....you use the 50mm, I think a 1.8-version? Why not set it to 1.8 to lower the iso more?
May i know what focus mode that u using for pan shot? It is AFS, AFC or Manual?
Adham Ahmad I prefocus with autofocus and then switch to manual to lock the focus before I start panning
Ok that’s great..is that any difference if using AFC plus continues shooting instead of manual focus?
Adham Ahmad I never tried continuous focus while shooting pan photography since I am familiar with manual focus method! You can try it and see if it’s good!

btw have a sony a6500 do u think it makes sence switching to the a7 ii ?
AimLoi I really appreciate that! A6500 is a solid piece of kit! It has better iso range, focusing and video. I think if you’re looking to upgrade to full frame you should look at getting the a7III!

Your focus technique is pointless. You don't explain why you would lock focus then switch to manual. There is no advantage to that. No manual focusing will give you the sharpness of today's AF on Sony cameras.
