I like the zoom effect. I do a lot of rotating shots instead or in addition where you hold the picture steady a bit for a moment before and/or after rotating or zooming in and/or out from where you were. You have to like things to be a bit more abstract. But that’s me. I prefer to often struggle or find it impossible for one to decipher what the original subject was. I care more about the visual aesthetics.
Hey TK, great tips. Question about settings for 5:45, it's a long exposure but what f stop are you using? The street light isn't the typical sharp starburst usually produced at f22. Are you using a filter and or shooting wide open?
Thanks so much! Actually looks like I left the black mist filter on. I was using it for some different shots before this one. This causing the halation’s around the street lights. So not totally deliberate there! I shot heaps of examples this night, so I was pretty tired by this point 😂 But if it’s dark enough I won’t always close off the aperture completely, depends on the shot I guess :)
This is so wonderful. Thank you for this tutorial. I’m getting so frustrated with slower shutter speeds but i wrote everything he down and I’m off to try ❤
Wow, I'm breathless with your pictures! 👏
how did you do the video at the beginning?
Very good color grading on a drone timelapse
Cheers, some handy tips there, been trying to nail the panning stuff with varied results but will give your tips a go
Thanks for checking it out man! Panning stuff I still have plenty of misses but definitely improves over time haha
Love the tips in this. Thanks TK

Hello from Romania😉🤝
Hey dude! Thanks for dropping by 👋
For panning shot which lens should I use prime or kit?
You can definitely go either! I always like primes myself but either is fine :)
Try waterfalls/fast streams for the second technique folks!
