Dear Judith, the world is a better place because you were in it. We are the poorer now that you have gone. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Rest in peace.😢
I live in Southern California. I remember being 8 years old and hearing Gorgy girl on the radio so many times then, on so many radio stations in the LA area.and many many times over the years..when I got older I looked up the seekers on the internet, which opened a huge door for me to learn about all of them, and all thier music. Judith was a very loving and kind woman with a wonderful talent. When it popped up on my phone with...Judith Durham of the seekers....I started saying, NO. NO NO! Then opened the story up and read, passed away today..I just felt heartbroken. I never met her, yet felt in some small way connected to her. Part of her magic, she could make you so fond of her. God's blessing on you, a very special soul indeed.
She has not left us. She is here in her new life for all eternity with the great music you gave us forever that will be sung by many and remembered by even more. Thank you, Judith for the beauty and love you gave us !!!! WE WILL NEVER FIND ANOTHER YOU!!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Thank You Judith for all the Beautiful Music, you made the world a better place! RIP
Not Australian, but a Yank who has lived all over the world. But one of the constants has always been Judith and the Seekers. Thank you for 60 years of Memories, Love and Affection. Sleep in Peaceful Dreams.
RIP. Once met Judith in our local park through Bruce (Woodley) whom we know. while our dogs played (in fact only saw him last Wednesday ). About 3-4 years ago. Lovely lady. Very friendly. A week doesn’t go by that I do not play The Seekers on RUclips. And I was only born at the height of their success -1966.
What a nostalgic tribute to the little lady with the BIG, bright, bell of a voice…Beloved Judith Durham gifted us for 60 years with her enchanting vocals! She inspired me, when I was only 10, to some day join a Rock band- & I did! She & her Seekers band mates were part of our youth; a more innocent, magical era. We are forever grateful to them for their musical magic…as we mourn the loss of their most precious pearl: the incomparable, unforgettable
Judith Durham. She is singing with the angels now. May God rest her gentle soul.🙏🏻🎼🎤👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
We are privileged to have lived in a world at a time when Judith graced the airways. Now her music will live on and on.
Thank you for the music, Judith and may your soul see the eternal light❤️
One of the most beautiful voices ever... like brightest crystal.... 💔
I've never been more devastated
RIP Judith Durham. Now you sing with the angels. Deepest condolences to your family & brothers on The Seekers.
God is so good, to give the world such shared beauty.
So sad to hear Judith has left us, but it is the inevitable way of all mortals. Listening to Judith Durham since 45 years, she took on a toga of immortality. She will Rest In Peace, while her voice remains immortal. Now Georgy Girl can now walk on the streets so fancy free, In a World of Her Own.
Strangest coincidence that I have been listening to Judith’s and the boys music for the last couple of weeks more so than ever. Also being a singer myself. Her beautiful voice brought tears to my eyes almost like her soul was reaching out to me. Farewell lovely Judith the world is missing you and your voice already. Ambrose UK
Goodbye and sleep well with the angels your voice will never be forgotten every time it’s played on RUclips you’ll always be remembered sleep well and thank you for your wonderful wonderful voice that you have had the seekers will never be the same without you R I P🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Thank you Judith for sharing your beautiful voice. Rest In Peace now lovely lady. ❤🙏🌹

So sad to hear judith durham has left us, She had such a beautiful voice 😢 I think she will never be forgotten, RIP JUDITH 🙏 XX Thank you for the music 🎶.
Obviously, you believe everything written by reporters. Judith Durham/Renee Zellweger is not quite dead...maybe...maybe soon...
She was Australia, her music was great, she will be missed
Still and will always be the most beautiful voice ever from Down Under. It's sad indeed. She and The Seekers have left a long lasting memories in many throughout the world. Their achievement is a testimony of the great and resilience of the Australian spirit; tough, determined and world class.
Beautiful woman, beautiful Singer
Judith Durham (OAM) the spirit of Australia. Quietly, within our hearts, we will miss her. RIP ✝️🇦🇺🌹
RIP beautiful human being, I grew up listening to you, THANKYOU ! One of our greatest Australians ever !
My wife suffers from dementia which can make her very difficult to live with even though I still love her. At the moments of greatest stress (when I even had suicidal thoughts) Judith and the rest of the group helped me get back to normal. In particular The Shores of Avalon helped to calm me down. A great voice, a great lady and a great loss.
So long, Georgy Girl, I know we'll never find another you.
Sad news that Judith passed away. I loved to listen her beautiful voice with the Seekers.
We in the United States loved Judith and the Seekers too. Her passing is terrible news but at least Heaven gained a voice.
Today I'm listening to my 50 CD of theirs in her honor.
Saddest news ever, but thanks to you for keeping her alive in our hearts Rich.
Heart💔Breaking News Tonight,
with the Sad😥Passing
of our Beautiful &. Talented

Oh dear Rich. What a sad day. She was certainly a national treasure in Australia and will certainly be missed by many all over the world. Thank you for posting this tribute to her. David T
Her music lives on. RIP jolly girl
Judith and the Seekers have been my favourite since I was 11 years old over 50 years and I’m devastated at the sad news. Judith for you The Carnival I Over but we will NEVER find another you! RIP. Heaven has gained the most beautiful angel ever xx
Thank you, Judith Durham for doing your part to help tame mankind with your gift and talent. The Seekers music was part background soundtrack to my once young life. In the meantime, I'll keep the music playing.
A beautiful voice that gave me such joy - RIP Judith
God bless you Judith, such sad news, thank you for all the beautiful songs and now the heavens have gained the voice of an angel,so lucky to have seen you on the farewell tour,I will treasure that forever,RIP Judith, xxxx.
The voice of an angel has returned home. Judith and the boys created harmonies way beyond this dense earthly plane and we were so privileged to hear them. A vibration of joy and harmony in the 60’s that will never leave me. I’m sure you feel the same Rich
thank you for the music and your generosity and beautiful life.RIP LOVELY LADY.
Can't believe she's gone....I loved her and her strength of character with a brilliant voice.......RIP Judith.....safe journey in love!
How very sad! Her evocative voice has helped me through some very bad times...and joyously celebrated some very good times. "My Lord what a morning when the stars begin to fall" ......
One of the Sweetest Female vocals of all time
This woman was an icon... RIP sweet xx
Years ago, my Dad photographed The Seekers when they first got off the plane in Hawaii.
He said that he had never met such a pleasant group of musicians.
I've been listening to their music from that day onward.
Judith's singing was so unique. It had a positive emotional effect on me and I'm sure others as well.
I miss you. Thank you for bringing your Love to the World. Gary from Honolulu
Ive still got the old 45s that dad, God bless him, had of the Seekers. He loved them and always played those records when he could and I must say they were the most memorable ones of my childhood. Dad would be so sad to hear this news. Judith was definitely up there with vocal icons like Karen Carpenter and I am still bowled over that her voice never changed at all after all those years. She could still sing flawlessly even in her 70s. My word what a legacy! A very sad day for music and that we've lost one of the 20th century's most beautiful female voices. and a lovely lady too. RIP Judith.
RIP Judith Durham. Fantastic singer, but also a vegan, animal rights supporter and charity worker. Also a survivor through many setbacks. What an example to us.
One of the truly great voices of the 20th Century, in any genre.
RIP sweet Judith! Am glad for people like Rich who makes sure you are never forgotten!
Such a great loss. RIP Judith heaven will be blessed with beautiful harmonies
So sad to hear the news of Judiths passing. Was lucky enough to see The Seekers in person many times. She had such a beautiful voice. RIP Judith
R.I.P. Judith, a true voice of an Angel 👼 Heaven will take care of you 🏴🇬🇧 XXX
An icon of Australian music has left us. RIP, Judith Durham ( 1943-2022 ), of The Seekers.
RIP beautiful lady you and the Seekers have brought so much beautiful music to so many I am crying for the loss of you ❤
Thank you Judith. You and The Seekers still bring a lot of joy into my life. Listening to your music brings back so many beautiful memories of my life growing up in the 60's. That's when they really knew how to sing and write songs! Your legacy will never leave us. RIP.
Maybe it is raining where our train will ride,
But all the little travelers are snug and warm inside,
Somewhere there is sunshine, somewhere there is day,
Somewhere there is Morningtown, many miles away.
I am so sad to hear about your death. Your voice made me feel happy when I was a kid and was fighting against SMA. Rest in peace Judith.
So sorry to hear about the loss of the wonderful Judith Durham. RIP Judith
We all gone miss her.Her unique voice and personality.R.I.P Judith.🫂👤🙏❤️
RIP. Judith. 🙏We will all miss you Georgie Girl😢 and Thank you✌️ for the Music 🎶now that the Carnival is Over. 😪
I know people always talk of the Stones and The Beatles but in my mind The Seekers were the best band of the 60s, beautiful melodies.
Thank you for the beautiful colours of your life Judith.❤️❤️
Perfectly said
Well, the Best of The Seekers UK album went straight to No. 1 in 1969, knocking The Beatles White Album off the top of the charts and preventing The Stones' Beggars Banquet from reaching the top spot. The album spent 125 weeks in the charts in the UK. (Wikipedia)
I suspect that young, and maybe not so young, people have little idea just how big The Seekers were in the 60s. I am very sad today.
While those other groups were tearing down society, the Seekers were building it up! They were in a whole different much higher league than those others!! I love what you said! She added so much color and joy to life!
No comparison for me. Seekers all the way
@@oldsynner I was born in the 60’s (1966). But there isn’t a week I don’t listen to them on RUclips. My partner and I (of 28 years) adopted the song ‘I’ll never find another you’ as our song a long time ago.
Shocked and saddened to hear Judith Durham has passed away-I have always loved listening to the Seekers since I was a young boy in NZ during the 60s-Judith had such a beautiful voice and I still have the LP "Come the day" which my Father bought and years later gave to me RIP Judith you gave the world some of the most beautiful songs ever made Auckland New Zealand 2022
Rest in Peace Judith Durham! You will be missed!
Such sad news, one of the best female pop voices ever, there will never be another Judith :(
We’ll never find another Judith Durham 🥺. Beautiful singing voice she had, sad she had just departed. Rest in peace
RIP Judith, from all of us over here in England.
Thank you Judith for all the beautiful music you gave the world.

It's very sad...a great Australian, a great voice...truly part of Australian culture and history. My heart goes out to all those feeling it today. 💖💖💖
Good afternoon my friend how did you remember Judith Durham 1 yr of her anniversary of her death
She's not just a national treasure of Australia but an international treasure of the world! I'm a Canadian who admired her greatly as a singer , musician , a beautiful woman and a lovely person.! RIP Judith!
Hi Rich. Judith and the Seekers have been part of my daily life since 2018 and I am really saddened with these news. After a life-long experience of listening essentially to classical music but with a rather scarce interest on singers ( including opera) discovering Judith Dutham was like finding a new world. Her voice has effects on me that I never suspected possible. Everything related to her radiated goodness and beauty, and she was able to inspire love in a way difficult to describe. Her recordings will last , though.
Very sad news. I remember growing up listening to the Seekers and Judith’s beautiful voice. I am sure she is in Heaven singing with all the angels. She will always be remembered.
RIP Judith
RIP Judith, thanks for the wonderful memories ❤️
I am an old south African man. I have listened to and admired Judith Durham for 60 years. What a gift to mankind. What a loss for mankind. The memory of Judith will live on and lead on. May her soul be blessed for all eternity.
I loved her also. She was really one of a kind ☝️
What a lovely tribute to this wonderful lady.
Terrible terrible news. I know you must be heartbroken Rich. I'm devastated at the loss of our Judith, had the hugest crush since I was 9 years old. Such a wondrous woman, THAT voice, so unique, so many incredible nuances to the greatest voice ever. Such an astonishingly beautiful woman, just stunningly gorgeous, and that she didn't realise it was incredible. Such a warm giving woman, her charity work with MND is inspirational. Such a dignified, courageous woman, who went through so many trying periods with a quiet, stoicism, yet always with that gorgeous smile on her face! Yes we have lost a grand dame, a world treasure. Me, I'm just plain devastated. RIP Judith, lovely lady, Thank you.
They were my favorites ❤️
She has gone home to her beloved husband.
Thank you Mark.
Oh no, is Judith dead? I am so so sorry if that’s true 😢
@@rich963 Rich this must be so hard on you! You are so appreciated! I can’t thank you enough for preserving their heritage and blessing me along with thousands of others.
When I wrote my novel a few years ago the song that was playing in the background was Judith singing "I'll Never Find Another You" when the title character was proposed to by one of the other main characters. She will always have a special place in my heart. Rest in peace, sweet lady, you will be missed.
A truly unique voice. In the very best way possible. I was at the final ever UK concert on 3rd June 2014 at Royal Albert Hall in London. A magical experience and Judith sounded just like she did in the 60's.. Judith will forever be in our hearts and never be forgotten. Voice of an angel now with the angels.
I actually searched for this cover they did and didn't even know she had died until I read the description of the video. My heart sunk to my stomach. RIP
Beautifull Judith. So sorry she's gone but heartening to to know she ment so much to so many. The Seekers always take me higher....not everyone does
Devastating news to wake up to today.Never expected anything like this.I have been a fan since the mid 60s when I heard her sing the Carnival is over.Such a special and lovely voice.Rest in peace dear Judith, lovely Aussie girl, your songs will always be with me.
I am beyond shattered by this terribly sad news. A huge loss of such a beautiful person with an equally beautiful voice. ❤🥺
Beautiful version of The Beatles song. Saw The Seekers 50th Anniversary concert. Unforgettable.
Rest In God’s grace Judith, thank you for your music.
Hey Rich -- the wings of this singular Australian songbird have been stilled ... which is why it is all the more important that the work that you and others continue so that her memory will be forever in our hearts. RIP, Judith Durham.
The voice of an angel will now sing in the choir of heaven.Bless you Judith for your gifts to us,
So sad to hear the news that Judith has passed away from this world. She was my first pop crush. Thank you for all that you gave us. Will now listen to the Carnival Is Over and have a gentle cry. R.I.P Judith
I recall watching TOTP in 1968(?) And the close up of Judith singing 'the Carnival is over' and telling me she would love me until she died. Back atcha Judith. Beautiful voice, beautiful woman.
I cannot believe that our beautiful, amazing Judith with her crystal voice and sweet soul is gone. I am devastated 😢 💔. I know Beverly, other family, and the boys must be also. My only comfort is that she is once again with her beloved Ron for eternity. Heaven is rejoicing today. RIP , Judith.😔💔
Correction, it was 1965. On that oh so close close-up she was adorable.
@@nicolebuschmeyer9522 Hello Nicole, I only found out this morning Judith had sadly left us. She was Momentous and so underrated also her remarkable voice will never leave us .My favourite Seekers tracks are I'll never find Another You and Morning town ride. Kind regards Glynn n greetings from Stourbridge West Midlands UK 🌻
The world has lost an remarkably special lady in Judith Durham. The voice of the Sixties will never be forgotten. Thank you dear lady for all the songs and wonderful memories.
Deepest sympathy to the family circle, the gentlemen Seekers and Australia on this very sad day. You're all in our thoughts and prayers.
Rest in peace Judith. Safe in heavens Harbour. Safe in the arms of Jesus. You will be missed. Big time.
As a very small little girl up in the Appalachian Mountains, my big brother left his collection of Columbia Records to me when he went to Vietnam. I was so scared. But my mother let me fall asleep with the record player playing your music. I felt everything was going to be alright. Thank-you for that and this channel. God's Blessings.
Hello 👋 dear how are you doing?
My heart sank when I heard the news. I only discovered the Seekers 6 years ago when I was 17. My aunt played "I'll never find another you" and I was awestruck by their unique harmony. Strangely enough only a few days ago I had another Seekers' phase, even trying to learn the chords to that song, completely unaware she had passed around that time. Rest in peace Judith.
She truly stuck to her roots on music...RIP Judith, we will miss you...
RIP. You sang like an Angel here on Earth. Now, you're singing with the Angels. ❤😥💔✝⚓🛐🙏
Totally devastating news her voice melted you ,Judith your voice will live forever, 😭
THE SEEKERS💖👫👬🌟🤩✨
Great!🎼🎵🎹🎸🎻🎤📀👍💯
From Hong Kong🙋♀️🌏💝🌺🥰
Was für eine traurige Nachricht. Doch Judiths Stimme wird niemals ganz verstummen. R.I.P.
So sad I do hope that she knew Jesus
1. To the Quik: Judith practiced many long hours, with a heart filled with love,
to bring together the never forgotten sounds of [Folk & Pop]!
i.e. [1964] Judith's Rendition of "Five Hundred Miles"! A Heart filled with Love!
God blessed us all, Judith Durham has passed away! Amen.
2. Just a Mention: [1967] "Georgy Girl" [Pop & Rock]! Great Signature! [4 Chords]!
My Wife gave me the news this morning. Heart break beyond measure. I have had a sense of this day recently. And now that it has happened, it's as painful as I imagined it would be. I can take some solace in the fact that just last night I was in my 60s themed home lounge listening to the seekers and specifically Judith as is my custom. The wall opposite where I sit is dedicated to female recording artist, movie stars and others from the 1960s. The very first poster I got, and largest one, is of Judith. Looking at it while listening to her sing "The carnival is over. or any song she sings for that matter, is heaven on earth for me! I don't know why I even bothered putting up the other posters since I stare at Her's 95 percent of the time I'm there. Not enough can be said about all the attributes of this woman as there were many. Her voice, musical talent, persona, charity work, positive demeanor etc. She has had many trials and tragedies in her life and always faced them all with dignity. AND she could make her own clothes! I truly loved this sweet girl, and it feels like losing a close family member. As the song says, " I will love you till I die" RIP beautiful one.❤
So many of us share your sense of loss, Rich. Judith was a touchstone for us.
Thank you for sharing all of the videos. They will keep Judith's memories alive and many more people will be able to know about the Seekers because of your efforts.
Rest in peace, sweet girl.
Magnificently put James. (95% of what comes up on YT for me is Judith and The Seekers. So many of us truly devastated at her passing. A loss so deep and painful to all her fans. There must be millions now saying, to Judith, I will love you till i die.
Great tribute to one of the greatest female vocalist of our time. A proud Australian of whom they should be proud
Me too...♥️
Gentle music with a fantastic singer
R.I.P. dear lady. For over 50 years my wife and I have sung to each other "I Know I'll Never Find Another You."
I was calm when I got that message, believe it or not, I thought of her a few days ago, and blessed her in my heart that she could stay well longer. Everyone die, and she was 79.... RIP Judith..... I miss her.
Another wonderful singer has left us today, Rest in Peace, Judith, you were one of the greats and will be sadly missed but your voice and memories will last forever, Heaven has a new Angel today.
Another person I grew up with the pleasure of listening to now gone forever, rest in peace
sorry to hear the sad news yesterday. Love Judith's voice and the harmonies of the Seekers.
Much love and hugs to the family and friends of this dear soul!
Why does it take someone dying to realize how great they were?R.I.P.Judith.
Oh my! I'm so sad. But at the same time happy she is now rejoicing in paradise. I know she was a believer in God. I loved her! I know she never remarried after losing her beloved husband. She said the reason was she could never feel that way about another. She is now singing for our Lord and her loved ones who went before her.
