Thank you very much, I was able to follow the steps up until replacing the actual regulator then I figured it out from there. There's a lot of negativity in the comments as always but I wanted to let you know how helpful this was to me. This video is skipping some important info. There are now a couple other videos that are better. Those rivets have a steel center pin that is almost impossible to drill out as the rivet body is aluminum. If you punch the rivet pin out, the rivets are easy to drill out. However, hammering on the pin can break the window glass. But you can wedge a wooden block behind each rivet to prevent breaking the glass.

Now how do you work on a broken window motor since it most likely not go up and down where the ribits could be easily drilled out

Had my regulator replaced and now window is not going up right and tight. Also has a rattle noise in lower part of door. Took it back, they said they tightened it. On the way home, same thing! Can window be adjusted?

You dont have to drill anything! One version has a tang you bend the other has a clip you use a small screwdriver to lift up on the back side and slide the plastic off the arm.

I ended up just taken the motor off and replaced the motor only.
