What do you think of the wheel? Perfect starter wheel? Great price? Better alternatives? Let me know in the comments.

I think for what you get at that price point it is a very good option. Won’t break the bank to get into sim racing

I own a Series S and have just started sim racing, was always a controller guyfor Forza, however bought Assetto Corsa and rather than shell out lots of money bought this wheel and i love it, i paid £109 pound in an Argos Black Friday sale and it does exactly what i want, once ive mastered Assetto Corsa ill upgrade and it will definitely be Thrustmaster

I'm currently using an Xbox controller and trying to save up for the Moza R5 bundle. As I don't have a racing rig, or the space to get one this is probably the best setup I can get. I already know I love driving and the money will be well spent so I'll just skip the belt driven wheels and keep waiting and saving. I'll eventually get a handbrake and shifter too and replace the pedals with Fanatec CSL Elite V2 (long term goals!)

I own a Xbox T248, and the only issue relates to the Xbox support, which is down to a cut down version of the XInput library, the extra buttons that this wheel has are not supported directly on the Xbox, but overall I find this wheel excellent from a driving point of view, having played with it both on Xbox and PC, the additional button mapping in games like Bus Sim and ETS2, show the power of this wheel as an entry level wheel, with the encoders adding to the emersion. Just wish this MS would fix XInput support on Xbox. I would add that you can always purchase optional pedals for Thrustmaster, like the T-LCM, T3PA or T3PM allowing you to change the 2 pedal to 3 pedal version, a worthwhile upgrade rather than purchasing a new wheel. I purchased the T3PA Pro pedals (which I believe are now discontinued) when I owned the original TMX (T150) setup because I wanted a Clutch, and these pedals just plugin and work with the T248.

More expensive pedals now have a weight compartment for you to add more mass aka sand, in case you don't have a large heavy peice of wood to screw or glue the pedals too lol. DIY wood skilll set needed... Even thrustmater Pro set will still flip up with out a fixture or rig to hold them down.

First time I've heard of adding ballast! TBH most expensive sim racing equipment will be bolted to a rig anyway.

Looks too cheap and seems like it's made for kids. Especially the pedals.
I think it would be better to just save up a little more money and get a better wheel.
    Thanks for the video.

I currently have a Logitech G920, although I like the look of this wheel I wouldn't buy it. I would buy a T248 if I were to change my wheel.

Does anyone know why i have to turn my wheel ALL the way to the right/left for my car to turn? Could it be a sensitivity problem and how do i fix it?
