Gaiden was ALMOST a joy to 100%, the hostess clubs have never been for me and even when furiously skipping; the real women against a fake background just made me feel creeped out when I wasn't too busy cringing. Idk it just felt wrong as if I were using one of those fucked AI girlfriend apps
When it comes to the Golden Balls section, I picked “Endless Riches” on the PS4 version and “Sexy Panties” on the PS5 version. Me and my friend laughed when I chose “Sexy Panties” because of the dialogue.
I dont think character being dumb is bad writing, the point of this game is that kiryu yet again made a dumb short sighted decision that hurts him and the people he cares for, examples of this is yakuza 5, yakuza 2, yakuza 1. Its a flaw in his character just now he made an even worse decision, gaiden hammers that home by showing how fucked the daidoji is and how no one believes kiryu's death, kiryu fucked up and its hitting him

Loved the video, always look forward to these coming out! Keep it up! That said, you kind of harp on the ending of 6 and I think I disagree. I think it's completely in character for Kiryu to pretend to die and not take money. He is kind of naive because he thought that he could retire and not have people try to hurt his loved ones only for himself to be roped back in to Yakuza business time and time again. His singular goal at that point when he made the decision was to protect the people he loved and he felt removing himself from the equation would protect them, but he's naive like I said because I don't think he had a full grasp on what the Daidoji were capable of and Gaiden is kind of like him living with the reality of this decision. At this point in time, He was just so tired of being roped in to Yakuza business and you could see in 5 he was lashing out and angry at the thought of it and in 6 he was extremely close to breaking his own internal code of no killing because of that anger. I definitely agree though that it felt like they wrote themselves into a corner with 6, but I love what they were able to do with that.
I actually completely agree that his decision in 6 is completely in line with his character. I'm conflicted because I was under the assumption that 6 was supposed to be kiryus final send off. If this was all planned out from the beginning of 6, it's actually pretty well done, but I still think kiryus is silly for making that decision. Five should have taught him he can't abandon his family. I'm interested to see where infinite wealth goes because he still seems to think he needs to stick with the daidoji and that he has no other options
Not sure if you didn’t like this about Judgment and Lost Judgment but almost every boss and miniboss has a mortal attack in those games, Lost Judgment more so, there’s not a single boss there that doesn’t have a mortal attack.
I think it did get annoying for me in lost judgement, but not as bad. I think it was more annoying in gaiden because of coliseum plus some levels had like 5 mini bosses back to back. I think it was easier to dodge mid combo in lost judgement as well
yes! It took me longer to complete than I thought it would. I plan on putting it on pause again when Infinite Wealth comes out so hopefully not too long, but after Infinite Wealth. I plan on doing 6 and Judgement too

I am in the “love hate relationship” with trying to get the platinum for this game, only due to me being stuck on the platinum matches for hell team rumble and the 4 kings. All I gotta say is at least to me the firefly gadget is the only useful one in my eyes while in extreme heat the others to me were just either useless or hard to control 😊 edit: the streamer girl in the cabaret club is a real life streamer Vtuber named Kson I don’t know much about her but all I really know is that she’s really popular and that she plays yakuza to and is a big fan
Haha hell team rumble was definitely the most frustrating until I realized the "correct" way to do it. I basically maxed out my entire team and kiryu, made sure we came into every fight with full health and kiryu with heat, had 2 healers and the rest melee, started by spamming cigarettes in heat mode. Once that ran out, I either zipped around using the serpent shoes or took out the bigger guys using dragon since that does more damage. Only after doing all that did I feel like it was even possible lol. Oh and I had the best gear and the golden underwear
Music is a little loud, but it gets better after the first couple minutes. Infinite Wealth is out in 2 weeks!!
