I'd never seen this ad until today. But me and my wife lost a combined 80+ lbs and got into shape when we found out that our baby grand daughter was about to have a brother. That is soooooo sweet. And I've almost move to tears )) But fiirstly I thought that he expects a newborn child in his family. But this Christmas story is even better that I could imagine.
I think they were better back then because brands/companies would spend months making one ad that had to last for the next 6 months to a year. These days, content creation is done on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

Brilliant. We need more commercials like that one, today. I remember the '70's we had some Great Ad Agencies producing some memerable Ads.
I think they were better back then because brands/companies would spend months making one ad that had to last for the next 6 months to a year. These days, content creation is done on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

As a young guy battling cancer for 5 years I went from being to easily pick up my godchildren, place them on my shoulders and playing for hours to not being able to do so at all, this story hits REALLY HARD.
