- Camille shares the clinical insights of a patient who had failed to maintain healthy lifestyle habits and the effects on his health. The team discusses the powerful effects of definitive lifestyle changes and the potentially devastating impact of not keeping them. This clinical round discussion shows how rapidly the body can recover once a healthy lifestyle intervention is resumed. Although medications had to be continued with this patient initially, they had to be discontinued quickly because of the powerful effects of the nutritional intervention. The team compares the impact of medications on chronic illness to that of a correctly done nutritional detoxification intervention.

Great work Dr. Keep it up.
You do amazing work!
Thank you so much 😀
What about Oxalates in spinach, beets and other vegetables. I’m learning they cause gout, kidney stones and arthritis.
Thank you doctor, you and your team are amazing!❤
Our pleasure!
Please help me! I need to do a raw nutritional detox. I have health challenges.
What is the best way to contact you?
Dr. Montgomery, I’ve been Whole Foods Plant Based for 17 years, no oils, no processed foods, no medications and I’m struggling with my cholesterol being high. I feel better when I eat raw and I have been doing fasting.
Any ideas on what i can do. The only healthy fats I eat are chia & flax seeds and avocado. I used cashew dressing for my salads, drink smoothies and occasional cold pressed juices.
I just don’t want to be on medication. Want to heal naturally.
Thanks for sharing your insights on the heart. What do I do for a slight leaky heart?
Check out the show next Wed. Perhaps Dr. Montgomery will answer your question.
Amazing ❤results from a raw diet!!!❤
Yes it was!
Thank you for yet another Inspirational & Informative episode.💜
I would like to clarify @ 07:21 to 07:27 Doc says, It took nearly 2 years for the statin drug to _increase_ inflammation,, by the same time, we were able to _increase_ it in 4weeks on a raw plant based diet. Slip of the tongue? Suggestion: Maybe adding some corrective wording òn-screen or simply address/correct it in the comment section to avoid confusion & limit incredulity.
It should be understood by any viewer (professional or lay person) to be a simple slip, since all context & wording preceding it & following it (i.e., 07:28 "the detox that you get from this kind of nutritional intervention, 4 weeks vs 2 years (for the medication), in terms of _reducing_ inflammation, and some of the other biochemical changes also may take as long or longer."), confirms this. However, I wanted to make you all aware of this, to quickly avoid other's leaning to their own understanding.
Keep up the AMAZING Work! You All Are Definitely Humanitarians & Doing Exemplary Work, Changing Lives for the Better. 💞

I would like to know where I can be treat by you and your team. I live in MI and will travel, tele -health or whatever is needed. Within the past week I have been started on BP meds (lorsartan) told to lose weight, to start Empagliflozin next week for diabetes and to use a cpap for sleep apena. I want the option of a natural healing to my health issues but it seems the VA (veteran here) would rather push meds rather than a actual holistic solution. I need help just like you covered in the case in this video. I will do the work, I just need the plan and medical support team. Thank you in advance!

I forgot to ask, I know the diet reverses the bad things done to the heart and vascular system to a certain point. If possible, can you let us know how much of the reversal is permanent vs making the the vascular system and heart better to work around the damage done?
I'm asking since it took two years for the person to develop Angina again. I'm guessing there were already conditions that the diet certainly improved but did not elimiate 100%.
Forgive me if I didn't articualte my thoughts adequately.
Whether or not changes are "permanent" totally depends on food choices. Apparently this patient fell off the wagon. The good news is that just his body responded to bad choices, it also responded QUICKLY to good choices. Also, the second time the clinic provided increased support with weekly office visit or remote.
I pray the Lord help us all.
Is there anything nonsurgical that can be done on a 15 yr old with a hole in the coronary sinus...surgery was recommended

Her voice!!
Same same
😂❤😂❤
She has an unfortunate voice…we’ll get used to it!😂❤
@@patricialambert1827 it’s not unfortunate! She’s like the singer Michele’ who sings with a powerful voice but sounds like a little girl when she talks!
Dr. Montgomery, why is it so important to eat a “raw” plant based diet instead of just eating plant based foods that are cooked?
Raw food provides patients with increased nutrient intake, faster healing and improved energy levels.
@@MontgomeryHeartWellness Thank you! I am still on the fence about making that change. I love vegetables and have increased raw food intake by adding additional raw veggies to my salads.
Typical salad: romaine lettuce, spinach, celery, red onions, bell peppers, cucumbers, avocado chunks, carrots, olives and often I add pickled beets or pickled red onions. Homemade dressing with vinegar, Dijon mustard, dill, raw honey, and black pepper. I’m not that fond of kale in my salads, but I do drink at least one green juice per day which includes kale, green apples, cucumber, ginger, celery, and lime. I make other juices and smoothies. I’m really trying to transition to a healthier lifestyle of eating but I can not lie. I do find it difficult. I am a cancer survivor. (8 years cancer free laryngeal cancer)
Your videos are very informative, helpful, and encouraging. Blessings to you and your team of healthcare professionals.
@@hezekiahsparrow8607Keep up the good work!
Can I still have soya milk in tea and is it ok to eat bread?
This depends on your health and goals.

Can we talk directly to you
We are working on a platform for that.
Music sounds like a cocktail bar. Kind of distracting from this critical message.
Thanks for your feedback.
