    It’s great to hear two awesome practitioners identify the serious side effects of medications. But also knowing when and how to wean the patient off. This is why I chose MHW and his team. See you in December Dr. Montgomery!

    Really enjoyed seeing Dr. Price & Dr. Montgomery in the same video. 😍. It made my day. They are such a blessing in how they get to the root and explain these medical issues in a way that is easy-to-understand. So grateful how they both have convinced me of the power of a plant-based lifestyle. It is really amazing how quickly this patient was able to get off both medications and be healed. My 2023 Thanksgiving dinner was mostly vegetables this year because of them! Much love, peace, & blessings🙏🏽

    Due to damage from a cholecystectomy which resulted in a partial ileus in my ascending colon and bowel loops in my transverse colon, I developed a leaky gut. I’ve had doctors deny that this condition exists (even a gastroenterologist that had stacks of gastro-magazines in her waiting room that had an article on leaky gut). Only one allergist agreed that I had this condition that was causing my newly developed dermatitis condition. Another doctor literally laughed at and disrespected me for trying to get help for what I was suffering. Thank you for validating that leaky gut is a real condition. 👍🏽

    5 minutes in and its resonate with me. I’m only 62 145lbs. A conscious eater, not perfect. No sodas, minimal processed foods, moderate exercise. HBP and GERD diagnosis. I take Losartan 100mg. Dr added 2.5 mg Amlodipine which causes Bp to drop occasionally. I do not take Omeprozal for GERD because it doesn’t help. I actually have esophageal spasms which doctors do not address. Thanks for these 2 professionsls

    Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. I ask to consider lowering the background noise so voices are more distinct. My 90 yr dad does not want to take blood pressure meds or any medication. However he had a stroke induced heart attack which doctors attributed to afib. My question is how can we maintain his health through foods or juices instead of medication?

  • @kalkeikuu
    @kalkeikuu 5 месяцев назад +2

    Wow! Excellent video. You've explained leaky quite well. My resistant hypertension began ever since I was diagnosed with leaky gut through testing years ago. I took these results to my Western medicine doctor, and he brushed me off, gave me more pharmaceuticals, then sent me off. 13 years later, my blood pressure got worse, ended up in the ER many times and finally gave me a mini-stroke. As usual, docs at the ER couldn't figure out why blood pressure was sky high, but they did find a 1 inch hiatal hernia in the CT scan. It got to a point that I had to start taking the blood pressure medication despite it not working much. I am scared because my MDs don't have the time to dig for the root cause, but give me more drugs and send me off. I am so upset and frustrated because I don't know how to fix myself, that I pretty much gave up on seeing more western medicine doctors. I know I should, but I'm so tired of them scaring me, drugging me, or sending me to another "specialist." My health insurance does not cover functional medicine or naturopathic doctors. I don't want to die as I'm 49, still have children to raise, and I need to be there to help them with college and wanna see my future grandchildren. I tried vegetarian for a few months and my pressure was still high. Could this be from leaky gut or my sliding hiatal hernia? I now have eosphillic esophagitis, which I never had before.

    Wow, super interesting. I love hearing doctors talk about leaky gut causing auto-immune and GURD being caused by low stomach acid not an abundance of stomach acid. I take it that a plant-based diet corrects both??? Also, did not know the lungs are a pump and a sluggish lymphatic system could cause problems in the legs. Hope to see more of these! Thank you!

    What type of food do u have at your wellness center? My mother-in-law had a stroke and I know she wants to get off her meds. She is 73 and is on a diuretic and high blood pressure meds and asprin daily. I know long term these meds are not good for her. My husband and I take her healthy food when we can , but she's around others who don't see how important her choice of food is and how it can be controlled much easier with living food. A lot of people r afraid to stop their meds unless a doc tells them..does your center help with this? Her stroke was an acute one.

      Dr. Montgomery recommends eating whole plants mostly raw in the beginning. No land animal foods or fish. If your mother-in-law becomes a patient Dr. Montgomery may be able to help her reduce her meds. To make an appointment please call 713-599-1144. There are no telehealth appointments, but we do have an online community with live events so you can ask Dr. Montgomery questions.
