I like how the hardest part of the dungeon was the prison section.

My team tried to solve it logically for like 20 minutes. Then we just tried to shot them randomly which took 5 seconds no joke

I love that this dungeon punishes Mr Adderall brain for trying to speed through everything. nuke the yellow bar scorn too fast, shorter damage window, if you wait just ONE second you'll get two. I normally love speedruns but for some reason the whole time during this video I was just cringing.

the jail puzzle is kinda stupid tbf. they set up a new mechanic in the first fight, then introduce a new, complete unintuitive mechanic in the next section which is immediately dropped for the entire rest of the dungeon

I love how everyone instantly forgot about the whole "it needs to be done solo" part when in the prison. So many people thinking it's timing or a specific order. I mean bro's was doing a full "3..2..1 shoot" when that is just straight up wrong.

For those who dont understand the clockwise counterclockwise stuff in the jail room. The tally marks are equal to the number of rotating circles. A set has to go one way, and the other has to go the opposite. 4 counter clock 2 clock or vise versa. Easy as that
After having run the first encounter solo and going to jail, the answer to the puzzle is, in sweats cell, the skeletons right* hand is pointing to 4, and clydes skeletons left* hand is pointing to 2. In mine, they were both pointing to 3, it doesn't matter which are spinning in whatever direction, only that that many are spinning in those directions.
Always amazes me how people can me so Good a game and still clueless about it at the same time

It's always a competition to see who can seem like they figured something out first. Meanwhile half the time they're just reading chat giving them the solution anyway like Whetstone
I don’t know if people know now, but how I solved it was seeing the skeleton in the first prison having is right hand on the 4 (so 4 must turn right). On the other skeleton, their left hand will be on the 2 (so 2 must spin left)

Fun fact the DPS for the final boss is a lite version of Legit Riven encounter in LW. Notice how your constantly moving and having short DPS and then at the top you have 3 DPS like in LW Short DPS with Eyes then when your at the top 4 DPS in a row.
I had the jail part figured out real fast by accident, had everything spinning correctly just didnt know there was a lever
It honestly makes me hella sad that these past 2 dungeons have been great but Root was just so bad in comparison.

Best part is where he sword skates off of the map and forgot to grapple back.
I hope with all my gut that banner Titan gets nerfed into the ground. You see all these content creators talk about how content is stale, and there is no risk when playing new activities. Then one banner Titan is able to clear rooms of adds, all the mini bosses, and the boss itself. There is no subclass capable of that, and frankly it’s stupid it has lasted this long.
Bungie have given up, you think they care now about one OP class in PvE. It'll be nerfed next patch, no sooner.
Solo is so annoying because it takes so much damage to kill the two final bosses

@@Villle89 No you're not. Dungeons are designed for 1-3 players they are designed from the ground up for one player. Only recently have the final bosses in dungeons had so much health. Back in the day you could 1 phase some of them solo without using some busted broken semi cheese build. Bungie just use health as a way to increase difficulty now.
@@burns0100 it adds to the challenge. I like having to actually care about a good damage setup. Old dungeos are way to easy
That's why the older dungeons are so boring they are cakewalks. The newer dungeons are actually fun to 3 man. They are designed to be SOLO-ABLE. That doesn't mean they are designed to be solo'd. 2 very different things.@@burns0100

Dude it’s such a shame this dungeon came out when strand was this broken. You should not be able to kill these bosses this fast and it completely ruined any kind of challenge. Idk it’s just lame. I love this dungeon though

PSA, the skeletons hands on the tallys are the direction they spin, so white is clockwise because his right hand in on the tallys, and orange is counter clockwise because his left hand is on the tallys!

Tbh kinda disappointed with the final boss design. I honestly thought that spiral stone at the bottom was gonna connect to the boss, and we would fight like a giant stony snake, but no, just a big blue ball sack. come on, bungie, it was right there. Let me fight a guant rock snak. 😅😅
