can a new player do root of nightmares after 24 hours? no. absolutely not. can a seasoned player of the game with multiple day 1s, a world first, multiple solo flawlesses and knows every aspect of the game and how to exploit it to get the most loot and the most meaningful loot do it in a new character? yes, ofc they can

Feels really good to see sweat struggle with solo legend calus lol. I know it wasnt a meta loadout but goes to show how the scaling is really extreme from hard to easy as you add players to team
@@darthnater6204 incorrect, the difficulty is diminished since more health/ damage means nothing to synergistic builds that don't care about those increases. Using rocks on Calus on their own isnt great, having a tether hunter and a starlock using gjally and rocks shreds him before the torms are able to finish their spawn animation
"Every new player can do this, they just don't" Because it takes knowledge of the game, it's weapons and it's mechanics. In a game which explains virtually nothing to new lights
literally explains nothing. you'd have to spend more time watching youtube videos on what to do and where/how to get the proper loot than you would on any raids themselves.

I've been with D2 since before Curse of Osiris and lemme tell you rn. I'm playing with two friends who have only had the game for 2 weeks and its been an Experience. First 24 hours of the game has just been me laying down wikipedia pages worth of game mechanics and lore just to get em in the loop. Its been fun aside from that, but as a person who studies game design.... massive accessibility issue.Its an utter nightmare for complete new lights these days.
Technically, if I was a new player (I am) I wouldn't have any idea how to speedrun to this dungeon or w/e they're called in Destiny. So no, a new player cannot do it under 24 hours.
Sweat messing up and not calling it out is peak LFG experience. That is how you get hard stuck on a boss instead of accepting mistakes and moving forward by swapping roles/learning what went wrong lol.
I actually did this for contest mode. I made my account friday when it launched and beat neumuna and then got roped into helping friends do the contest since I was 1780. We got the clear but man it was one heck of a welcome to destiny

Crazy how Bungie can easily relay to a player to buy all of their BS eververse and expansions but can’t even provide a decent new light experience and a good Segway between early to mid game and mid to late. It’s just good job for doing new light now go out hardest content oh btw pay 500$ so you can use this new white gun

God two friends one who only touched destiny 2 for like 10 mins and another who has started playing the game it is very fun playing with them and sitting in each encounter or any puzzle of any raid or dungeon for them to figure it out and they learn pretty fast with time they are even grinding light level gonna take them to their first gm when it drops and see how it all goes down
The duality of the average LFG experience, you spend some time finding a team, first team usually is ass and falls apart an hour in. Get a second team (sometimes a third) and you finish the raid in 45min with some totally cracked gamers.

@@jasonschumacher1412 there's a Level grind system where every season has a new Soft Cap, Powerful Cap and Pinnacle Cap for the gear that drops. Soft Cap gear can be obtained randomly by doing basically anything. Powerful and Pinnacle in that order is different tiers above the Soft Cap that can only be earned by doing Daily/Weekly activities that has the relevant rewards advertised on the activity (ie newest expansion Raid and Raid of the week gives Pinnacle drops) In general you want to reach the soft cap as soon as possible to then prioritize Powerful drops and Pinnacle last (when you run out of Powerful drops) because Pinnacles provide the biggest boost in levels while also being the only way to level past the powerful cap

I assumed that tormentor isn't meant to kill you. It's just a showpiece I just go get caught right away so that it can disappear and I can progress Only thing to make sure if that we are full hp.. Else we die and have to re spawn

I’ll agree that RoN is very easy, but honestly one of my favorite raids so far. I love the mechanic on the orbs and the encounters aren’t intimidating where my new light friends aren’t afraid to do the encounters
The fun in raids is meant to come from mechanical complexity and some level of combat challenge. Raids are meant to be hard. You saying RoN is your favorite raid is you essentially saying you hate raiding.

LFG has always been the worst and best experiences of destiny I’ve ever had in gaming. You have groups that just hit off and laugh and have a good time blasting through the raid seamlessly. And then you have groups that are incompetent

As a returning player, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you won't find a fire team withing 48 hours of queue and/or won't be able to play it solo. Within 24 hours you barely know how loot works, since NOTHING is explained to you. Edit: I forgot the 15 paywalls im hitting even though i have a bundle for witch queen, shadowkeep and beyond light. Can barely do anything

would be rll cool if you could make a small playlist of videos for things new players should be doing just bought 4 dlc for the first time today (waiting to get lightfall) but what are some of the things I should be doing feels like teres so much loved all te tips in tis video but with the time crunch it doesnt make it very beginner friendly
You did not show us a new player doing g this challenge, you showed us a seasoned player with a new CHARACTER. There is a very big difference. It takes hours of play just to get familiar with the mechanics...
what were you doing when you got all those exotic chest pieces and is it locked behind a paywall

As a returning player, I can tell you with absolute certainty that you won't find a fire team withing 48 hours of queue and/or won't be able to play it solo. Within 24 hours you barely know how loot works, since NOTHING is explained to you.
Edit: I forgot the 15 paywalls im hitting even though i have a bundle for witch queen, shadowkeep and beyond light. Can barely do anything

Don’t feel too bad, I’ve put at least 130 hours into the game since lightfall dropped and still haven’t gotten one. I was convinced it wasn’t real until he got one
I got the godroll on the first chest drop in the lightfall campaign mission. I thought it dropped for everyone 😭
The iron banner smg can roll with destabilising rounds. Might be meta after this season's volatile on demand is gone
