It's becoming increasingly more common with the d2 community tbh. People will spend days and weeks perfecting their equipment then waltz into a raid knowing nothing, wanting to learn nothing, doing minimal dps for their build, then when they die everyone else is a real asshole and they suddenly have all the excuses in the world while simultaneously being (carried to) rank 11.
Funnily enough tractor cannon has been ace for the raid both in contest and normal so the new light questline giving you one for free is super nice. Honestly I prefer you not screaming. Fun to see swords actually be the way to go for a boss. Even if it required him to have a built in weakness to them.
Been really cool to watch and compete in day 1 content that Sweat participates in. My team and I have always compared our placings to redeem and Sweat just to see where we stood next to top players. Was ecstatic to beat him and his team while being entirely on Xbox.
@@ChardogNation it has been 5 years since their peak, but they still have 40k plus hours combined. They still placed like top 300 for day 1 CE. That’s still top 1% players easy. Did have to sub out 2 for Salt and ritz tho💀
@@jacobbennett564 ingame hours mean nothing, they needed to sub in someone from the worlds first team to get 440th, if they kept the og 6 that would’ve been a fat contest tag. 440th is in no way a top player in this context
@@ChardogNation dude the player base is millions large, and considering like 3k teams beat it they’re already better than the best of the player base. Reprised raids are always messy with the two completions and Ron was an anomaly. They’ve won two worlds first races and while that was a long time ago, they still play at a level of the top 1% of the player base easily.
For me 1 of the beautiful sights I seen on D1. Was being the sword runner on crota's end raid and watching the volley of gjallahorn rockets flying in on crota.
I think they did mess up giving the player tractor cannon almost instantly. New players dont have a use for that gun, so like me, it ends up in the vault for eternity.

I can't remember which season of Lightfall, but prior to it, we'd have 2 "tutorials" on Lost Sectors, 1st being when you have to kill Fallen for something, it'd give you an or of complete a lost sector, the 2nd being the one still in the game with Devrim
I haven’t been on destiny youtube in a while so I might be late to the party, but I actually really enjoy the standing commentary bits of the video. Nothing crazy but adds just a *little* more depth to the video that I like.
wow, congratulations to all 6 of you for how you played, almost 8 hours on crotas end and yet the teamwork, comms, all of it was incredible! though i will admit i now feel worse about myself seeing 6 f2p beat contest crota's end in 8 hrs while i spent almost 20 hrs on just crota on contest, with a total of over 60 guardians we got to damage 4 times in almost 20 hours i went crazy

I would have said that 24 hours is a really long time, then i attempted the raid with my new light friends. Day 4 of doing it, we finally got to the second encounter with the death totems, unfortunately just before the reset so now we have to do the lantern encounter again :D
ye that glitch where ur third person but still in the menu with npcs sucks u have to re enter the landing zone happens every time i try to talk to somone

Sweat as a "blueberry" gets more done than my teammates with god-kissed equip and loadouts.
All about the player not the gear (sometimes). I see too many Rank 11’s who are just god awful at the game.

I like that they give tractor cannon. It makes it so that new players can still be useful in fireteams while figuring out the game.

That last wish chest is also accessible if you do have the raid, all you need to do is do the 4th wish, and some parkour.

You should be able to. I've never done a raid and have gotten red borders from the chests.
