    The yellow I thought was interesting, but I like them.

      Yeah I like the yellow. It’s even better that they cut through dust better

      @@DustinFaddis yeah, you helped me make up my mind between the amber and white ones. Had it already saved on Amazon just couldn't decide until now.

    I’m curious to see how the perform in the extreme temps up here in Alaska. We’ve seen temps as low as -59 degrees.

    Definitely nice lights, if anyone is wondering it's just as easy to run the wires with out the sport bar lighting, I'm running a set of procomp s15-w only con they only come white, and I'm running the caliraised lowprofile brackets 👌🏼👌🏼 very clean look

    Great vid, ty. Talk to me about your perceptions of glare off the hood affecting driver vision?. Is there a reason you put the 'flood' side down, I thought the hood might make more shadow that way? Also would love to see the light output without the overhead sport bar lights for comparison. Love the content.

    • @DustinFaddis
      @DustinFaddis  2 года назад +1

      Thanks for the feedback, I don’t get a “glare” off the good. I would just describe it like the hood is lit up. I have my lights angled out slightly so this reduces that a bit. I think the angle of the hood itself keeps it from causing a blinding glare. I feel it would be much worse with roof mounted lights. You’re correct about the hood shadow if the lights are straight forward. Having them angled out slightly reduces that. I chose to put the flood side down just for purposes of drive lights and fog lights. I didn’t put much more thought into it other than that. Maybe I’ll swap it to see if there’s any difference. I’ll have to post a short video showing the difference without the sport bar lights. Thanks for watching I hope I answered your questions.

      @@DustinFaddis Yes, ty. I look forward to the follow up. Maybe see if the flood up vs. down makes a difference in that vid too? Thanks, keep up the ZR2 content!

      @@BowTied69 yeah I’ll look into seeing if there’s a difference in glare. Good idea for a short video.

    Very nice, next up for my ZR2 is additional lighting, I like that set up and amber choice. I am electrically challenged, I assume it would be real easy to hook those ditch lights up to one of those S-Pod devices?

    • @DustinFaddis
      @DustinFaddis  2 года назад +2

      It’s actually very easy to wire. The instructions are detailed and it comes with a switch. You will just need to run the wires into the cab. There are already wires running into the cab in the same area that I was working. Just shove the wires through there. So the wiring harness splits and directly plugs into each light. From there the harness leads to a positive wire and negative wire. Those just go to the battery. The last part is the switch which comes connected. You just route that where you need or want it and it’s done.
