My fave low tier unit to team him up w/ is the strike egg Perrserker for 2/3 Pasio Def Circle, lol. I still don't have AS Steven yet, so I brought V.Thorton as the 3rd teammate for the Field-Support Sync. Considering Strike Perrserker doesn't have any multipliers aside from PR2 (lol) and CS2 LS, I think that's the one damage dealer that gets buffed the most by SS Lear's (and V.Thorton's) presence. My fave higher tier unit to team him up w/ is prob U.Selene for 2/3 Alola Spec Circle (w/ A.Lillie2 as the 3rd teammate and Steel Zone setter), SpD debuffs, and more SMUN stacks.
I genuinely think we can safely say Lear is the best MF! Minimum at 3/5 he’s giving a 70% boost to Sync moves & 80% w dps! And he’s beyond strong himself😵
Steven is arguably the best support in the game currently but yeah if you want big big steel damage it's Lear but damage can be powercrept whereas supports are always viable
It was obvious he was going to be good. Gamefreak likes pushing that GholdenTurd by making it busted in all pokemon content. I'm just happy he sounds as dumb as his Design looks. And I'll skip it just because it's GholdenTurd. It's not like this game is hard enough that you need it
Not really, if you mean it his pull value isn’t as valuable and there are free options, sure, but he’s nowhere near replaceable for top Steel teams, lol.
@@salamencelvx he is for f2p team like me. Once u strengthen Arc Steven at 4/5 and maximize Annie lillie, the 3rd slot will be very very optional because those two can do almost anything (debuff, rebuff, zone, etc) except status condition to beat any content.

With sync burst and ex he can get -8 sync countdown which is like the most sync move countdown of any sync pair as far as I know

What’s better for me as a new player to scout for, Steven, Lear, or other? I’ve already got Cynthia and lance once.
