You probably already know this, but I had to make a similar "Schwing" sound, and it took me down the rabbit hole of making anime sounds. Anime sounds are so abstract and yet weirdly perfect. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't recreate it! But I found some info and the essential ingredients are 1: a large amount of reverb 2: feeding that wet sound into a frequency shifter 3: automating that frequency shifter to go from low to high in tandem with the transient. You did a great a job finding a different way, but if anyone else is having a hard time getting that distinct anime "scwhing," hopefully my tip helps.

Lovely animation and very good Sound Design! Very cool to see that you used a lot Synths for simple sounds

Thanks friend! I was worried that it wouldn't be as interesting since it doesn't have a lot of foley work, but it seems like people enjoyed it :)

@@Blipsounds i think is the opposite, a lot of people in the community just starting in SD and maybe don't have a proper microphone/recorder, but a Synth it's much more easy to access, so I think it's incredible valuable content!

@@tomaspalazzi honestly you don't need a proper mic and recorder. It's pretty amazing what you can achieve with just a smartphone these days. Just get close to the source :) but yeah, synths are great, especially Serum. A great free alternative is Helm - check it out!

Loved the videos! Most of the sounds were within 80% or more like the originals for sure !!! Any Chance of a sequel on this?? There are tons of emotion sounds on Animal Crossing and I would like to learn how to make the sound that the Villagers make when they are thinking about moving off the Island (and have a cloud above their heads!!).

The other wave in Serum was still a square wave. Its just has a different pulse width at 25% instead of the usual 50%. So, the “Pulse-width” parameter in ReaSynth isn’t a wave, it’s just defining the shape of the square wave. You just made it a 10% pulse width, which changed the timbre of the square wave.
