You probably already know this, but I had to make a similar "Schwing" sound, and it took me down the rabbit hole of making anime sounds. Anime sounds are so abstract and yet weirdly perfect. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't recreate it! But I found some info and the essential ingredients are 1: a large amount of reverb 2: feeding that wet sound into a frequency shifter 3: automating that frequency shifter to go from low to high in tandem with the transient. You did a great a job finding a different way, but if anyone else is having a hard time getting that distinct anime "scwhing," hopefully my tip helps.
sound design is something i have always found interest in and i find it really cool watching a video on how it is made for one of my personal favourite internet animators videos! great work, bud! can't wait to see more from you.
@@Blipsounds i think is the opposite, a lot of people in the community just starting in SD and maybe don't have a proper microphone/recorder, but a Synth it's much more easy to access, so I think it's incredible valuable content!
@@tomaspalazzi honestly you don't need a proper mic and recorder. It's pretty amazing what you can achieve with just a smartphone these days. Just get close to the source :) but yeah, synths are great, especially Serum. A great free alternative is Helm - check it out!
Thanks for the video!! I love getting to see how other people go about sound design and what their creative process is for it. I always feel like I learn something new!
You did an excellent job with the music, is my favorite thing about the meme. Does it have an extended version? I love it so much that I listen it on loop 😂 I wish you keep creating more amazing music ❤
Loved the videos! Most of the sounds were within 80% or more like the originals for sure !!! Any Chance of a sequel on this?? There are tons of emotion sounds on Animal Crossing and I would like to learn how to make the sound that the Villagers make when they are thinking about moving off the Island (and have a cloud above their heads!!).
The other wave in Serum was still a square wave. Its just has a different pulse width at 25% instead of the usual 50%. So, the “Pulse-width” parameter in ReaSynth isn’t a wave, it’s just defining the shape of the square wave. You just made it a 10% pulse width, which changed the timbre of the square wave.

Thanks! Glad you're enjoying :) Apeslene is beyond too talented!
Lovely animation and very good Sound Design! Very cool to see that you used a lot Synths for simple sounds
Thanks friend! I was worried that it wouldn't be as interesting since it doesn't have a lot of foley work, but it seems like people enjoyed it :)

This is a bit old but thank you so much regardless! I am still at the beginning of my sound design journey so this little tips really help!
This is really impressive!
I'm kinda jealous of how amazing that is!

Thanks! Yeah I usually improvise all of these videos, so I just forgot in the moment. Spot on description!
@@Blipsounds I figured, I just thought I'd fill in the info in case anyone was curious. :P
