I wouldn’t mind getting 50% off. That sounds more reasonable
bring it down to under 50k is where it should in reality.
And then double the length of the warranty is even better.
@@brokeboy87 The Gladiator would have done significantly better had it been priced in line with Jepp products sold 10 years ago. It's really a shame because there are some good ideas in the product. It needs some quality improvements, some product improvements, and a derivative of the Hurricane instead of the old 3.6.
I just bought the same one. I love it.
@@hochhaul Yes, since around last October, the discounts both Jeep and dealer have brought them down into the ballpark of what they should have been selling in the first place imho. So, my basically 61K MSRP version at the 42 and change I paid for it was in the sweet spot.
Should be 40G out the door. Then maybe folks would consider it.
I’ve had mine for 4 years and almost 60k miles. Most trouble free vehicle I’ve ever had. Never kept a vehicle this long and no desire to get rid of it. The 25 percent off is what they should be selling for. Stellantis really have lost their mind with their price increases.
65k is absolutely crazy for a Gladiator. It’s a 40k vehicle at best. They are just adjusting for their horrible initial MSRP with that huge discount.
It's a 25k vehicle. A sport is so cheap it doesn't have power door locks or electric windows. Jeep has some big balls to ask 40K for a midsize truck with roll up Windows
Jeep has priced themselves out of their own market.
Title is a little click-baity, my brother... $65k for manually adjustable seats and an old, heavy V6. Ouch
Most potential Gladiator buyers are waiting for more engine options. If you're going to throw on bigger tires and a lift it needs the new straight 6 or a 4xe option.
Imagine how cheep these will be in 6 months!
Ima wait....
Buy one at MSRP and get the second one 50% off means 25% off of each.
I bought a 2020 Gladiator and had it for 3 years. It handled better, drove better, and was far more comfortable than the '19 Tacoma TRD Offroad that I had before it...even with a 3 inch lift and on 35" tires! Not a lick of trouble from it, and got great trade in value when I sold it. I was real happy with mine, and when you drop the top on a nice day...home run! Im guessing all the folks throwing stones at this truck havent driven it.
In Georgia there is a dealership with 2 new 2021s….
So with the discount, it now costs what it should have cost in the first place.
Keep in mind your paying 5-6 k more in interest over length of loan with these crap rates
I can barely tell why anyone needs 1 Gladiator. Let alone 2. Pretty good deal for sure but the original MSRP is insane. I feel like something that expensive should also be a good daily and I haven't heard good things in that regard. Maybe the higher packages a little better though
A year ago I test drove one, that V6 is too under power for the weight of that truck. I think 0-60 was over 8 secs. It felt even slower.
You will still get the JEEP wave, driving this beast!
That is the true price for that. Imo.
It’s pretty much what they were offering in March. I got a 2023 Gladiator Willys MSRP was 58,300 wound up getting it for 40k so I would say I got a better deal than what this dealer is offering.
Willys is a good option to the rubicon
@@lordrayden3045Love My 23 Gladiator Willys in Bright White ❤
Good to know. But didn’t hear one word on how it handles, ride quality. Love your videos.
can't imagine a car payment on a 50k vehicle just not worth it. you can get T boned or rear ended and it's a total loss plus your insurance goes up probably double just by having a newer car.
I pay twenty dollars more a month for insurance for full coverage than I had on my old Buick that was only worth 8k.
I think the Mojave or Rubicon for mid 40's is reasonable. Especially when compared to the price miss on the Tacoma.
Who’s buying two of these?
One to drive and one for parts. 🤣
Lol. Beat me to it.
We own two lol
Make better offers on regular Wranglers…
@@SpoolingturbskiThat’s not something I would tell.
People have forgotten what the S stands for in MSRP.
Just because someone “suggests” something doesn’t mean you have to do it.
The discount price seems to be only in your area! Here in Kansas at my local jeep dealers, the price still in the 60K regardless!
Get the zr2,why not,totally updated
And it has more power
I've thought the same, but for me the gladiator still wins because you can remove doors, roof, better aftermarket, hemi swaps etc
That math isn’t mathing. 25% off 2 different vehicles does not equal 50% total price. Hopefully one day a car reviewer will always say the truth: prices are outrageous. None of the justifying these prices.
Thanks Ben. I'm the one that posted what I saw when I drove by the Jeep dealer in Heber.
When was this video made? It is May now and they are only offering 7% off MSRP on Mojave now. April they were offering 12% off MSRP on Mojave.
it's actually 48,750 so your math is mathing
Ben , can u please find out if 2025 will have 🌀 hurricane ,v-6?
Their marketing is out of touch with reality, there's no way Jeep tried to determine what the customer wants, they just followed a trend in settling on this configuration. Not everyone wants the massive 4 door cabin with an afterthought for a cargo area. Pickups are all about work, Jeep, make a real Scrambler and watch how fast they sell! Offer an extra cab version, one platform could be adapted with different bed sizes, and while you are at it, offer a better engine choice.
Where is this?
Jeep has lost their damn mind,
These price increases are going to cost them a generation of customers.
2023 Jeep Gladiator JT Mojave 3.6L V6 8-Speed Automatic Crew Cab 4X4!
I got 30% off my 2023 Freedom Edition with a 60,800K MSRP in Dec 2023 and that did it for me. So far so good in May 2024. I've wanted one since they first came out but the pricing was outrageous. Not that they can't give them away, so to speak, and a price of 42K and change on an almost 61K vehicle, I was good to go. I wanted the red one, but had to take the Granite Crystal one (same price/equipment) and realized that I also inadvertently got a "night edition" by RAM standards. That made me wonder why they don't have a night edition version of the Gladiator. I see now they do and it ain't cheap.
I just got into a brand new 2023 Gladiator High Altitude at $20k off of sticker. So just around $45,000.
Not a bad deal in my opinion for a brand new car in todays market
It’s not just the gladiator it’s the whole jeep line. I am in Utah as well and I am seeing 15-20k off MSRP
Such a cool unique vehicle! Built like a tank for serious off road use.
The dealers make up for the discount by adding extra charges and warranty schemes.
Let me tell you how they sell more of these. Provide 7-year bumper to bumper warranty.
2021 MSRP Gladitor Mojave was 55k, why Jeep increased over 10k killed sales but now Tacoma has followed
I keep seeing how these aren’t selling and prices are dropping. Haven’t seen any evidence of that happening in my area.
Ben did you leave something out? You have to use Chrysler Capital to get the discount and their best rate is 10% just another Stallantis scam. I had a 2022 Mojave and lost 12 grand getting rid of it and was thrilled to be in a new ZR2 and out of that POS
if you want a pickup with a top off then itis the only option. If discounts get anycrazier I would consider selling y 2020 rubicon with 60k miles and pick a mojave up. Reset to Zero miles for about 15K seems good and I can still take top and doors off
It's not smart marketing, it's douchy marketing. Sleezy used car salemans bait and switch marketing to get you in their door and waste literally hours of your time. Given the dealership you are at it doesn't surprise me.
Insane Gladiator Ben !! ❤❤
Wonderful tip...
I'm glad people have not caved to paying the ridiculous prices that they are asking on these Jeeps.
It's not just price, it's supply. I see dealerships with 10 Rubicon and 10 Mojave each, while Ford, Chevy, and Toyota limit how many of the top trims are released to dealerships.
I love my jeep 2023 Willys gladiator - best vehicle I've ever owned.
Ditto ✌️
Yes I would consider it reasonable at below $50,000.
That's a good deal love the green color on it
The dealers killed this vehicle. At this point any one who wanted one has one. As far as value well again the dealers ruined these. And let's not forget the MSRP to begin with.
What world are these dealers living in, wtf is going out there buying 2 in this economy, man there so out of touch with what's going on.
That is a price point that will allow Gladiators to be competitive in there class. Mid size truck.
Before they were just pricing as if it existed in a vacuum. Stellantis is learning a few lessons. Consumers have limits and if you don't compete with price you will die !!
Needs the new hurricane in-line 6 and also needs the corrosion issue fixed. These things and the JL’s have massive corrosion issues and Stellantis doesn’t care but they should as their sales are down 10% in the first quarter. The auto industry is in big trouble with the emissions standards and EV push.
Ahh look at that TRX in the back 😍
25% off brings it to $52K. Which still seems really expensive! I love Jeeps - drive a 2012 Rubicon 2 door 6 speed manual - but the prices have just become bonkers - and not just Jeep. At $65K for $5K more you can buy an Ineos Grenadier! Same for the new Toyota LC - my local dealerships have the 1st edition at $90K!!!! And when you see them in the flesh, they look max $50K vehicles.
I tried to get a gladiator in 2021 it was a base model with little tires and no lift not even running boards. They started at 50k. To much for me I bought a new jeep wrangler in 2004 for 18k
Stellantis SHOULD be worried. They priced everyone out of the market over the past year or two. Couple that with interest rates? That equals "mess". I've watched the Jeep Gladiator prices falling. And 11/13/23, I finally jumped. Got a 2023 Gladiator Willys in High Velocity. MSRP was $56,675. I paid $39,673. That's $17,002 in rebates. Dealer matched Jeep's own rebate of $8,501. No brainer for me 30% off? There were more available with similar deals in Kennewick WA. Two 2023 witth Eco Diesel. Back story there - had a 2014 RAM 1500 Eco Diesel that was absolutely NEUTERED after ECM flash. I sold it 2 months later.
Don't get me wrong - there's NOTHING wrong with these other than an MSRP that was jacked up $10-20k over past few years.
Do you think jeeps are reliable vehicles?
Maybe there's nothing wrong with them, but look how much stiff competition in the midsized truck market arrived in just the last year. This 2023 looks ancient, even compared to the 2024 version.
@@CaponeXTF Yeah - I've owned 8. Anywhere from 1995 MY to 4 later models with the Pentastar. What's your point? Put this in perspective - these damn SxS ATVs are selling for more than what I paid. I surely won't be driving a Polaris 140 miles RT to work.....
@@weirdshibainu I bought a 2023 Maverick - granted not a mid sized PU - but at $38k it was a joke. Tremor packackage and all. Look under them for comparison. MAV looked like third world engineering. Crappy wiring bundles. TINY rear axles. Tinny tinny everything. I'll agree I would have bought a TACO at the time, but there were none without ADM. Just saying - I got a deal on a brand I trusted since 1995 with zero issues. I'll just agree to disagree......
@@bufjayup7774 My point is that since the gladiator was first released, we have a new TACO, a Raptor Ranger and a Colorado ZR2. Are they each as capable as the Gladiator? Up for debate, but consumers have choices now.
Buy one get one free, would be a good deal
25% off msrp = trade in value will be 50% of msrp
Imagine how many rubber ducks you can buy with the amount of money you save!
So jack up the msrp then reduce it but not enough to actually get a deal except what it "looks" like meaning it still way high just not "as high".....got it 👍
2:40 Payload is only 1043 lbs?.... That's a lot less than my 2008 Ranger
My local dealer is only 8% off.
It’s still 50k each
Buy one get one 50% off lmfao. Makes sense for Jeeps. So you have another spare one when the other's in the shop getting fixed xD
I’d love to get a moderatly specd 2 door rubicon
In my mind it would cost low 40s……..
Damn was I wrong
%50 PERCENT IS GETTING CLOSE TO WHAT IT'S WORTH!!
$20,000 IS ABOUT RIGHT!!
Jeep dealers doing sus advertising perpetuates their sus image. Pass on 25%.
They should & probably will do the same thing with the “Blue Hook” Jeeps. All dealerships are loaded with 23’s & 24’s. No one wants them.
bring back the 25 and 35k trucks I hope they sit for 4 more years. junk 3.6 engine wont make to 70k with out cam phaser problems
50% off might not even cover the cost of the numerous breakdowns that are inevitable
Buy one to drive and the other to tow behind you
2020 gladiators were at 49000-55000 msrp. The 2023and 24 haven’t really changed, most changes happening in 25. So ur really getting same jeep from few yrs ago at msrp of few yrs ago. I agree with most people that gladiators should be more in the lower 40’s to 40 range, as most trucks should be! So no I would wait and as market gets worse maybe they will really be discounted. That’s just a marketing ploy to make u think ur getting a deal and really not !
2023 Jeep Gladiators which were 15% off sale, most only 14k off for a Jeep that’s been sitting on the lot for 6 months…. There is nothing off msrp posted for 2024 jeeps…I’m not in the mood to try to bargain with a salesman.
If you actually think about it, you’re paying a $15,000 premium for a Willy’s with fox shocks.
I need 50% off the 50% off price.
65k and no adaptive cruise. People finally woke up
Ya, who would be buying TWO!? And even with 50% off, it's probably still too expensive.
For current salaries and inflation, paying over $500/month (including insurance) is just too much.
I’m pissed I bought my Gladiator for $50,000 for a sport S! Should be law I get some of my money back! This is BS..anyone know how to get some of my money back? 😢
Jeep makes a damn fine vehicle The only thing that's holding Jeep back is this recession that we're in there's not a whole lot of money going around right now and last thing people need is another vehicle payment
Who needs two gladiators?
I might would buy one for 30k
That company in 12 years will be out of business
Same dealership, same Jeep, same Ben, video one year from now: “Buy Gladiator get one FREeeee”!
The Two Dealers In My Area Are Loaded With Inventory, Nobody Buying These Overpriced Toys!
Me and my bro are gonna each get a Mojave next week let’s see if this bogo deal is legit lol
Jeep shouldn't have made these vehicles extremely expensive as the consumers are not going to overspend from their set budget.
Chrysler should sell Jeep to gmc.
We are done as a society if they think they can get that discount math on one vs two past us Americans 😂
Just goes to show how much they are over charging for these….ridiculous
I will pay 5k cash now
All car companies have over inflated there prices. Your in a 2023 not a 2024 the price difference will shock you. Toyota prices will turn off a lot of people. GM seems to be the only company that hasn't lost it's mind with prices!
Nope, still not a deal. Frontier and Colorado still are the best deals in today's market for a new one.
People should start getting into building up a good used 10-20 year old full size truck and getting cheaper insurance, decent mpg, and a title, = no payments. Surely things will need to be repaired and repaired but it won't sit at a dealership for weeks for recall/warranty work waiting to be done. These days it pays to be smart and savvy with automobiles..
How much are you asking for this $30,000 dollar truck?
Buy 4 of them you get one free
who the hell is buying 2 gladiators at the same time lol
