    I wonder if they are now banking on this second free agency period after OTA’s for veterans to be released after all these teams see their first round tackles hit the field?

    This guy understands things - and makes alot of sense. We didn't do enough to help Daniels on the OL, and may pay for it.

    • @mobccr
      @mobccr Месяц назад +1

      We can go heavy on the OL early in next year’s draft

    • @johnmassoud930

      @mobccr won't do alot of good next year if Daniels gets beat up this year.

      I mean someone like JD hot wheels to escape. DLine will have to main integrity and so that’s gonna help our shit oline. I like the draft and I like the fact that we didn’t go heavy oline given that we have speed now and there was a run on tackles in the first round

      @@johnmassoud930 rookie O-linemen drafted in beyond the second round were not going to immediately fix the OL this year anyway. It will take time to build a strong OL but I do think we’ll have better OL play than last year and I think JD is more decisive with the football in comparison to Sam Howell.

    Depends on how the win/lose in a 7-10 season. If every game is hard fought and we see growth in the last weeks then it is positive. If they start out hot then fall off in the last weeks or lose focus than it will be negative.

  • @HTTR.Redskins

    There's a ton of pressure on Jayden Daniels. Sam Howell was a more sought-after QB in the off-season than Justin Fields. Washington is facing a 5-12 season with major ups and downs with the QB. There is an upgrade at the center, tight end, running back, and wide receiver positions. There are no excuses for a #2 pick.

    • @jimmieleepatterson
      @jimmieleepatterson Месяц назад

      That's not saying much, but there's more tape on Justin. But in reality, Sam was passed on by a lot of teams in 2022.

    7 /8 wins wouldn’t be a failure if they are competitive in every game. Last year they looked like they didn’t belong on the field at times son 3 four more wins plus always being in the game would be big step in right direction plus who knows a bounce or two in right direction and maybe they gets a extra win or two?

    I think we've already won cause no one here lately gave us a great draft!! Instead of reaching for players we got players that should have been gone!! Masterclass by Peter's n company!!

  • @johnloving9401

    Of course the pats can start JBrissett the entire season. This now lousy team needs to develop DMaye properly - could mean he proves he should start Week One, could be that he needs to sit for a while, even multiple seasons.

    If they win 7 games, 2024 will be a success. But don't rule out something better. They could be what the Texans were last year.
    One thing in their favor: the division. The Giants are still stuck with Daniel Jones and any upgrades they made are offset by the losses of Saquon and McKinney. The Cowboys' defensive leader of the last 3 years is now our leader, and 3 former Cowboy players are now with us, so that should hurt them. The only team in the division that I expect to be great next year is the Eagles. The Commanders always give the Eagles everything they can handle. Additionally, they play against the NFC South which has been the weakest division the last 2 years and they play a last place schedule, so that could help inflate their record.

      We're not likely to get 7 wins with the rebuilding effort that needs to occur. What we need is to keep Jayden Daniels alive and rebuild our roster. We're on the way to doing the 2nd part. Not sure on the 1st..
