You still haven't done any classic 4 seasons. This is from 1975. You haven't heard anything yet in terms of Frankie's falsetto. You have to listen to the 1960s stuff back before the Beatles. In fact they were one of the biggest acts in the country by the time the Beatles hit our shores. You've really got to check out "Sherry", "Big Girls Don't Cry", "Walk Like A Man", "Candy Girl", "Dawn", and "Rag Doll". The falsettos in those songs set the bar for all the falsettos in pop music that came after including the Bee Gees.
They will just assume that all Fours Seasons sound like this Disco version of them from the 70s and then be disappointed with how they sounded when they first came out. This channel is the only one I subscribe to that always starts in the wrong place with all artists and then gets disappointed because all that artists songs don't sound like the ones they heard previously.

Not 1960s - 1975. Plus Gerry Polci, the drummer, is doing the falsetto here. He was the lead singer on "December '63 (Oh What a Night)" , which should be your next reaction to them IMO

Jay and Amber, Who Loves You was a huge 1975 comeback hit for The Four Seasons, not long after Frankie Valli staged a comeback of his own with My Eyes Adored You. The Four Seasons followed it up with their last number one hit December 1963 (Oh What A Night). My favorite from the comeback album was Silver Star, which is a far cry from their early 60s hits. Frankie Valli would have one more #1 hit in 1978: Grease, written by Barry Gibb, from the smash hit film. All are worth a listen.
@@MrSteveLoucks AM radio, back in the day, refused to play long songs. If people had heard the full length version of Silver Star instead of the radio edit, I think it would have been a bigger hit.

Huge radio hit in the Fall of 1975. Not sure why you thought it was from the 60s. A quick Wikipedia check of the songs you're about to review goes a long way; Title, Artist, Year Released.

You really need to react to the movie Jersey Boys, directed by Clint Eastwood, which tells the story of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons. Excellent movie!
I was a kid (in the 70s, you are right Amber 😄), so I didn't recognise the title, but as soon as it started playing, I KNEW the song - & I remembered loving it - (maybe because I wasn't much older than a baby at the time, & a girl baby at that.) It was always a lovely, comforting song. Because of my age when this was out, I didn't actually realise that it was Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. Even back then I knew Frankie Valli's voice as it was so distinctive. It just wasn't the focus in this song as it was in so many of the others. Here his part is just a part in a larger whole that has a lot of singers & a much stronger instrumental focus. I am going to be adding it to one of my playlists as soon as I finish here. THANK-YOU for this reminder of a piece of my childhood comfort.
Frankie, who is 90 years old or more, was on tour last year. There are videos of his concerts and he can still sing the high falsettos with ease. Amazing career 60 plus years.
Hey I'm probably the biggest Frankie Valli fan on the planet but he cannot hit the falsetto. He lost his falsetto in the late 80s although his voice was always still great. I saw him in 1990 and he could not hit the high note but he adjusted by working around that but his voice was still great and he sounded fantastic his voice was still very strong but it's understandable how you lose that falsetto for some people when they get older.
It sounds like they are parading him out there with him lip-synching as close as he can to drain as much cash out of him as they can. There’s a recent video of him trying to move his lips as close to the recording as he can, and he’s struggling. No 90 year old can do that.
@@aprilcollins3031 There all kinds of Reddit and social media posts out there that recognizes it’s heavily lip-synched /pre-recorded / synthesized, etc…but most of them say it was still a good time.
Frankie Valli is on his final tour right now. You really SHOULD go see him before he retires. He’s in his 80’s, but he can still sing! He’s coming to Dallas in October. I saw him at WinStar in Gainesville Oklahoma a few years back….what a great concert. You should react to the film, Jersey Boys…which was a film made from the huge Broadway hit musical, Jersey Boys….Frankie worked with producers on that Broadway musical…the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. What a story!! You will love it! The Four Seasons started pre-Beatles in America! Amazing that he is still performing! Great songs!
This is the music that brought us together. The music that made the sun brighter. It was the music we could actually dance with each other and it made love bloom. I grew up under this and Motown. The world never should have let this go. IMO
Love this song and have always loved Frankie Valli's voice! Gorgeous harmonies. I am not sure if you two have listened to the theme song to the movie, Grease, on this channel but since you are such huge Bee Gees fans - it's a must listen and such a great vibe. I know you watched the movie together on your movie channel - so I'm sure you know the song. But definitely worth an official listen on "Rob Squad Reactions"! With Frankie's awesome falsetto voice and the Bee Gees song DNA - you will LOVE IT!
Frankie sang the title song from Grease, and turned down the chance to appear in the film to sing Beauty School Dropout, so they got another Frankie for that (Avalon).
So many great songs from the 70s get credit taken a way from them from them like this is just one 0f hundreds from music reactors LIKE Jane from 1979 by JEFFERSON ,STAR SHIP To the 80s Lay it on the line by TRYUMPH 1979 the 80s get credit for the song Cars by Gerry Newman 1979 But the 80s get credit for The song LOVE IS A DRUG by Foxy music From ,,, 1975 ,, the 80s Gets the credit this IS why so many people think the 80s are better than the 70s Its the other way around the 80s are over rated
This was a song from the 1970s, what a great song. Jersey Boys the musical show based is on Frankie Valli and his music, it is filled with hit after hit of great songs and worth every penny to see live on stage.
This came out when I was a senior in high school in 1975. What a great time to be growing up. The music was just incredible - for years before, and through the 80's.

Frankie’s falsetto is heaven
Gerry Polci falsetto
Frankie sings tenor
Huge radio hit in the Fall of 1975. Not sure why you thought it was from the 60s. A quick Wikipedia check of the songs you're about to review goes a long way; Title, Artist, Year Released.
This is my favorite of their songs, even though it wasn't their biggest hit.
This is Frankie Valli changing with the times. The classic Four Seasons sound was established in the 60's. This song is from the 70's.
I recommend you check out their "Opus 17."
This group had soooooo many hits, starting in the 60's, going through the 70's & 80's
"Dawn"
"My Eyes Adored You"
"Ragdoll"
"Sherry"
"Beggin"
And theres more, but i that'll do for now. PLEASE dont leave it 2 years untill you get to them again. Im "Beggin" you (pun intended)see above. ❤🎼🎶🫂
You have to check out their song Beggin’. It’s a lesser known but incredibe Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons song
Their greatest hits is on a loop in my house. These and The Stylistics take me to happier times
love them
Telly Savalas as 'Kojak' 1973: "Who loves ya, baby?"
Frankie Valli was, is , and will be the first and most iconic singer in my lifetime. I grew up with his vocals, and the magnificent Four Seasons. 🙏🏻
This song is NOT it's not my mother, it's T.H.E it's name mother
If you REALLY want to hear the falsetto you absolutely have to check out "WALK LIKE A MAN"!
Sherry , I think is his best falsetto song. Different strokes, I guess!!!
I’ve seen him in concert amazing!
They are on their final tour this year.
And they definitely need to check out the movie "Jersey Boys!"
@@alleykeosheyan4779 Yes! I meant to mention that. I saw the musical in NYC and loved it!
This was a great Disco dance song! I remember the hustle, twirling and turning on the dance floor to this one!
Frankie sang the title song from Grease, and turned down the chance to appear in the film to sing Beauty School Dropout, so they got another Frankie for that (Avalon).
Most #2 top 40 hits I read or heard somewhere... superb drumming is this tune 😮
Great group. "Rag Doll" is my favorite from them in the 60's. This song is from the 70's.
This came out when I was a senior in high school in 1975. What a great time to be growing up. The music was just incredible - for years before, and through the 80's.
This song reminds me a trip I took to Cincinnati as a child with my Daddy. It was in big rotation on the radio and I loved it then as a young girl and now....as a not-so-young girl!
To really Frankie's falsetto, you need to listen to "Walk Like a Man" and "Rag Doll". Then you can say you've really heard Frankie Valli sing, y'all!
Almost forgot how great this song is. All those years ago and now.
