    Thank you guys, I was so lost in this issue. I am a Ukrainian snd wish I could but just can’t unsee the atrocities done by the Moscow patriarch to their own people and the Ukrainians. So many of my village are infested with Moscow patriarch churches and they continue to do ceremonies in old Slavic language and honestly it’s very hard to understand. Why not just speak the Ukrainian language everybody speaks. And plus propagandizing the idea of Russians being one as Ukrainians. Simply historically incorrect. If Soviet Union and Russian empire is what binds us and not Christ then I’m very sorry but we are nothing similar to the Russians. I’m part of the of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that is in Greek church in NYC Brooklyn, I hope this is a right place.

      Then old Church Slavonic isn’t even Russian. It’s actually old Bulgarian.

      I came from the Ukrainian Church originally and left to join True Orthodoxy. I would love to talk to you and ask you more and tell you my history, would you be okay with this?

      Ukraine is being used as a Western Bulwark by NATO and NATO funded countries. They will leave Ukraine in rubble, and move on to the next proxy war, Taiwan. Just like they abandoned the Afghani Military along with the democratic government. Everyone who was a collaborator was left behind to face the Taliban.
      Ukraine is running out of men, artillery, and resorting to grabbing men off of the streets. In Russia, so many men are volunteering, there is a back log of medical tests required to join. In a war of attrition, mathematics is the decider. Russia has 5x more resources and is the only growing economy in Europe. UkNatostan will never reclaim its territory. In fact, Western Ukraine is made up out of historically Romanian, Polish, and Hungarian territory. Romania has stated that it would give up NATO in exchange for its historic lands. The mainstream media keeps it quiet, but Donbass and 4 other oblasts have already rejoined their home country of 1000s of years. Officially through referendums. You have been watching too much CNN, BBC, NBC, Fox. Since you speak different languages turn on an Indian news channel for once. They have balance. During war the first casualty is the truth. That's why watching media from neutral countries that are not involved is important for having a balanced world view. I'm an Orthodox Christian from Canada. I used to think like you until I did thorough research on Geopolitics, Political Science, Realism, The Unipolar moment, foreign policy of America throughout history. History of Europe including history of its many wars. The realization that we NOW live in a multipolar world with three great powers with the strongest being USA, second is China, third is Russia. During the Unipolar moment, USA had a policy of containment, making sure no country could rise up and become a prosperous nation on par with themselves. "Near-peer competitors". After WWII the world hierarchy was supposed to be the end of history, USA would always be dominant, and they truly were until 2014ish.
      Also, watch Dr. John Mearsheimer's political science presentation called "Why is Ukraine the Wests Fault?".

    • @pravolub8
      @pravolub8 25 дней назад +1

      Actually, ekomomia is closer to a "dispensation" as opposed to akrivia, or "strictness" in following the canons. It is not a "development of doctrine". It's an ignoring of legitimate doctrinal differences in practice and sweeping them "under the rug" to advance an "ecumenist false union" between churches with vastly different theologies, soteriologies and ecclesiologies, based on "politics", where everything is up for compromise. Even in Roman Catholicism, which holds to the concept of "the development of doctrine", there are problems with Pope Francis' overly "ecumenical" policies, like having the overtly pagan "Pachamama" enshrined in the Vatican and, most recently, his willingness to officially abandon the "infallibly proclaimed" dogma on Papal Infallibility of the 1st Vatican Council, which we Orthodox would gladly see happen. The problem is "W 10:05 hat are "Orthodox ecumenists" going to compromise to achieve this "union of churches"? It certainly won't be a union based on Truth.

    I just love schisming whenever I disagree. Disagreements definitely didn´t happen in the early church.

      Submitting to the already condemned Soviets or embracing a condemned papal calendar is not a mere "disagreement". There's a big difference between a disagreement and unrepentant apostasy.

      These are not petty disagreements. The Gregorian calendar has been condemned by 3 pan-Orthodox councils under Patriarch Jeremias of Tranos in 1592-93, and Anthimus in 1848. It is impossible for Orthodox Christians to accept this change. That's not even considering Sergianism and the antichrist's church (World Council of Churches membership). I hope that you keep searching for the truth.

      There’s only the one holy catholic and apostolic church founded by Christ at Pentecost. You people are outside that church for no good reason oh Stalin man bad, like okay? That was 80 years ago the church triumphed. You people talk about automatic excommunication when you yourself split from the true living church.
