Yet in London they gave a clean up to Big Ben, it cost 29 million. Not to rebuild, to clean it up. It serves little purpose, no soul connection, or connection to god, a vanity project. Meanwhile there are food banks all over the country where people cannot afford to live, to eat. They need to use foodbanks.
I am English and find this documentary quite crass, and hypocritical. Big ben serves no purpose. 29 million for a face lift when people are using foodbanks? We have people begging on the streets.

Look what happened to UK and US today? hundreds of thousands of splinter protestants are sprouting but their values and morality are in the process of decay.

A billion dollars for GOD is a POOR offering. A glorious Cathedral for the poor is a MERCIFUL gift. GOD Himself WILL judge ALL our offerings. So BOG OFF BBC! Wonder how they would react of non-Russians (who don't blend in) entered to worship alongside them. That would tell us something of their spirituality. Russia did something I am happy about though. They banned Jehovah's Witnesses as an extremist group. And that they are. I was part of it for 30 years and I looked down on non-Witnesses until I woke up.

That is a very good question! All the Orthodox churches welcome visitors, although people who are not baptized in the Orthodox faith may not receive communion, which is the most important part of the liturgy. The degree of "friendliness" may vary from congregation to congregation (as in any denomination), but I'm sure that If anyone were rude to a respectful guest, the other parishioners or the clergy would correct their behavior, just like in the vast majority of Christian churches. I think that a non-Orthodox person (especially someone who is unfamiliar with liturgical worship; a Roman Catholic or Lutheran would find it easier to relate to Orthodoxy than say, a Baptist or a Pentacostal) who visited a Russian church would find it difficult to truly worship WITH the local congregation, since the liturgy is in a foreign language and they wouldn't know what was going on, and they could not participate in the central act. I imagine they would find themselves worshiping alongside, rather than with. However, an Orthodox person from another country would probably feel right at home; even if they didn't speak Russian/Slavonic, they'd be able to follow along and participate because they'd already have the liturgy memorized in their own language.
I'm glad you are through with the JWs... I haven't met anyone who seems happy to work for that magazine company. Please visit an Orthodox church if you get a chance; it's just about as opposite as possible from Kingdom Hall!

Judas asked Jesus, why Mary Magdalene anoints Jesus with expensive luxury oil instead of giving it to the poor. God says in the people ask and it’s given, seek and you’ll find, pray and you’ll get. This is God’s law. This doesn’t mean you always get what you want immediately, although I am 100% sure that when everyone would embark on this journey of discovering God and pray you’ll eventually get what you want. So, even poverty can be eliminated if all people would live according to their divine blueprint. And it’s all about inner abundance. If you feel lack within you don’t get what you want. If you feel inner abundance regardless of being rich, you’re already rich. I don’t care about Nike sneakers. I am already winning. For the rest I am enjoying all the abundance in my life, so I would be grateful for the organic expensive soup I’ve just eaten.. So, why we portraying an evil eye on Jesus’ luxury oil and exclusive attention from Mary Magdalene? It’s jealousy. Judas is speaking from a place of lack. These type of people are also flight shaming us, etc. Everything I spent my money on I get back a trillion times always, so if this is your dominant thought you can share your money to poor people without feeling lack from within and make people happy. Believers freely share their assets, so build churches and support people. Neville Goddard a Christian mystic wrote a lot about the Law of Assumption in co-relation to the Bible and Christianity. It’s worth mentioning his name if any person has a mindset of: don’t build churches and give all to the poor. We’re already living in New Jerusalem, God’s kingdom has already been here for everyone, so the poor are made rich now.
