I appreciate the honesty. I bought the Uberflex which , iirc, you recommend and I have had 0 issues with it. Works flawlessly and stores easy. I’m not a professional detailer but I do enjoy having quality equipment I can rely on.
Thanks for the honest review, and not trying to push something you WANTED to work. Great price and accessories, but quality matters a lot. Keep up the great videos!
My first hose was leaking like crazy. Had it exchanged but then the second one popped. I had less than 60 days with both. I do not recommend this hose for home use either lol. The Uber/flex are amazing. Great video, thank you for your honesty.
I’ve been using this same hose for the past 6 months. It’s okay, it works. Now that it’s cold it much harder to work with. In the summer it was much more flexible. It’s no uberflex
I got the 3/8 Uber flex last week and this thing f’n blows compared to my 3/8 kobrajet. It is larger and doesn’t like to uncoil. It is hard to maneuver and if it isn’t completely straight and uncoiled before pressurizing it is going to be a huge pain in the ass. It kinks easily and is a pain in ass to coil onto a reel without it kinking. Kobrajet doesn’t have these issues
I always tell people go with the 50ft Uberflex and I feel like at around $1 a foot it can't be best. If you absolutely can't deal with having a bright blue or some other bright colored hose, and want a black one, you can also get the 35 ft blackmax from Walmart for around $38 bucks. That's also my recommendation if you have an emergency and need to get a new hose ASAP. The blackmax hose is also made by pro-pulse/Uberflex and it's great. Doesn't have the slick texture for better or worse depending on the person usually, but it has zero memory, doesn't kink, doesn't get stuck (to the same degree as any other hose) doesn't explode and I actually really like the 35 ft length. Easy enough to use a coupler if you need more length and I also prefer having 70 ft instead of 100 ft tbh.
@@StaySlick I really really like them, and it says it right on the hose that it's made by pro-pulse or Uberflex (I can't remember which and I can't run to check right now). I use the little guards under the tires so the hose doesn't get caught on anything but in what little testing I did the texture made no difference between the blackmax and Uberflex getting stuck on stuff, and if anything I felt like using a 35 ft hose instead of a 50 ft gave me a bit more leverage and maneuverability overall without ever feeling too short. Highly recommended.
Thanks Gary. Always respect and value your guidance. I have the same Yamatic gun w/DIY nozzle guard set up from your vids👍. Just got the Merlin retractable so hopefully you’re still liking that? There’s so many brands that look identical. The JoeJet & Mckillans guns. Ridgeway & Yamatic hoses. I don’t really get it. Almost pulled trigger on KobraJet hose from MTM but reviews turned me away. Heard hoses made with steel are good. Sounds like you’d still recommend Uber flex overall? Have you ever tried anything from Suttner? They’ve got some cool lookin stuff:) thanks brother.
Hey Anna, thank you I always appreciate your feedback and support. I’m glad you’re getting some use out of the videos. Yeah these days there are so many brands that are white labeling things so you can get 10 different plans with the same product. it’s crazy. Yes I am in love with my retractable reel still the Merlin reel is fantastic.
Electric pressure washers have M22-15 connector. Gas powered and this hose have M22-14, so your hose is not sealing to the M22-15 connections on electric pressure washer.

Right on man the uberflex hose is amazing.

Not a problem thank you for watching.
Nice review, love your honesty. Great to see you back!
Thank you bro
I have this hose and as long as I straighten it out before pressurizing it it works just fine.
Thank you for the honesty!!!! Much appreciated.
Stay slick 🤙
Absolutely
I have the Uberflex and you are correct, same company, same hose as Flexila but better price. Great video!!!
Thank you sir
This some good advice while giving a nice demonstration of detailing.
Thank you brother. Much appreciated

Thanks for sharing your experience brother.
Yes! Thank you for sharing that. Helps narrow it down a bit in making a decision 👍
No problem I highly recommend the uberflex hose.

All I know that to reel the Yamatic hose isa pain I bought one a while ago and looking forward to upgrade to uberflex.
True
I picked up a black max from Walmart. Works great is cheaper and is made by the same people as Uberflex
Do they have 50 ft hoses?
@@StaySlick IDk mine was like a 35' I believe it was the only option at my store and it worked for me, but other stores may carry longer?
@@jeepinspence I ask cuz I’ve searched for them before and only found 35’
@@StaySlick Yes that may be the one caveat. The 35' worked for me but I know 50 is a better working length for most.
Great video as always brother . happy holidays be safe.👍🇺🇸🎄
You as well bro thank you
a question !!! If I connect a 25 foot hose with a quick connector to a 50 foot hose to get 75 feet, does my pressure washer not lose pressure?

I’ve been hearing about the black max owes for a while I might have to try it out

Sunjoes have M22-15 connections. Ryobis have M22-14 as do the majority of electric pressure washers. Iirc he uses a Ryobi.
Gotta ask brotha! How ya like the makita blower?
It’s great man. Highly recommend.
Hey, would you be up for comparing the Fixfans hose? It looks exactly like the Uberflex and also only $32/50’. Thanks!
I’ll look into it
Handsome stud
Aww dang 😍
It sure ain't the flexilla hose that's competing with it, that hose is garbage!!!!
The reason I said that was because Yamatic themselves said that was what they were competing with.
I have this hose and it’s awful, definitely kinks and has memory
