Not sure what that air hose reel was rated for, but if you’re using a couple thousand psi through it, you should definitely replace the hose reel swivel fitting. You can pick up a 5000 psi one for $30.

Thanks for the help on visualizing a simple setup. Did you have to change any fittings for converting the air hose reel to a pressure washer hose reel?

I know the 2.0 was new at the time but Accessibility isn’t really an issue anymore. I have zero faith in anything Ryobi and I’m not sure I’d ever use a cheap tool professionally. I’d probably pay you a few $$ and tell you to leave if anyone showed up to my house to do anything with a Ryobi. Neither one is rated for professional use. So you can’t really ding either one on that aspect. I’m just surprised you’re still allowed to do this profession in Kalifornia

Great vid. Man bought 3 units so far and all seals have burst on me. I don’t know if it’s because I bought central pneumatic but yea I have videos of all 3 failing. I’ve followed your instructions and bought the parts you recommended, my pressure washer is a ryobi 1800. You may ask why did I buy 3 units it’s because I have the harbor freight warranty so every time it fails I went and got a new one. The failure occurs after my 12 th car’s detailed every time 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️ can you speak to why this might be.

I don't see any difference. And as I am told, Bead Maker is supposed to be applied on a dry surface, first time used and than let it cure for a couple of hours. After that you can use it as in this video.

So I purchased the touchless two step wash from mirror finished based off a review you did on the chem x touches. The first use was great. But the next two uses, the foam wasn’t as foamy. I used the same dilution. Your thoughts on it ?

I'll start by saying I'm not a detailing pro. I bought the Ryobi from HD about 4 months ago for detailing my personal car, using a 25 feet flex hose with it and a McKillan's foam cannon. The first four times, I had one issue for a minute or so where the machine would run but not create any pressure. Just yesterday, it would run continuously without creating any pressure at all. Not sure if this what you refer to as 'surging', but more like 'stalling'. Now considering an Active 2.0. Since I'm not a pro, the cons you mention wouldn't really apply to me. I've seen it for $350 on Amazon, and $270 on Ali Express. But I doubt I'll be buying an more Ryobi products in the future. Thankfully, I'm not out a lot of money.
