- The 50th Anniversary 314ce LTD elevates one of the world's best-selling U.S.-made acoustic guitars to new heights. Featuring a torrefied Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, this versatile Grand Auditorium produces a punchy midrange with a warm, woody low end to balance its sparkling trebles. Our V-Class bracing generates greater volume, sustain and harmony down the neck, while our special roasting process for the top adds a touch of aged-in depth and sweetness. We’ve enhanced the vintage character of the slightly darkened top with a subtle shaded edgeburst around the body and neck, while a firestripe faux-tortoiseshell pickguard adds a bold visual touch. Other aesthetic details include gold tuners and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. Like all 50th Anniversary Collection models, it features a celebratory limited-edition label, and production will be limited to 1,974 guitars worldwide. This model includes ES2 electronics and a hardshell case.

Another superb demo. Quinton always reminds me that I need to practice more. As an arthritic, senior citizen in the process of 'culling the herd,' I find that my Taylors are always the last to go. The playability, right out of the box, is so profoundly excellent. There are companies that have been making guitars for over 100 years, you would think they would take the hint.
With you...if I could only have one acoustic it would be my 714ce, because of the incomparable neck.

Include me among the countless fans who thoroughly enjoy these demos. And Quinton seems to bring the best out in each different instrument. A question : Is Quinton still doing his licks? If he is, I must have simply have missed them. And a comment: string selection can have a dramatic impact on the sound of an instrument. Information regarding the kind of strings used, I,e.- brand and gauge, would help to better appreciate the sound from these fine guitars. Keep up the good work!
Taylor now uses D’Addario XS Lights (12) on all its acoustics, if I’ve read right. To be sure, check their web page for each model.

The TAYLOR builders edition guitar was my dream, I bought it but I was " robbed" of my dreams. I don't recommend Taylor guitars.
Cheap built guitars with bad electronics for a price that’s outrageous, I bought A AD22E American Dream Series from Sweetwater and didn’t like it for 1800 dollars so I had it for 10 months played it 2 times ,wanted to return for a Bose pro 8 PA system and ani e mic and a Martin guitar ,they didn’t want anything to do with that Taylor guitar for a deal for more Equipment.Didn’t want my business,would anyone else like my business.
