The drab colour does not stand out. Almost blending in with the concrete embankment of the river. Could have been better if it is in a different colour and with bolder designs. Looks like anyone could have bought them off the rack from some departmental store.

Perhaps they thought the parade would be at night , so all the lights would enhance the material and color , but unfortunately, the gloomy day light screwed up the color, and worst of all, during the live, Msian contingent perhaps had only less than 15secs of Airtime.

The design and color actually not bad, but is more suitable for catwalk / raya / attend dinner. While on this kind of sports opening ceremony, it didn't CATCH EYES. (my opinion)

Olive green with golden motifs??? Thats a CLAY SOIL colour! It does make the flag colours stand out, but covering our athlete with clay soil colour is like as if they are already dead & buried in the soil. Not a good look at all.

Starting to think that the recent controversies with the Olympics outfits is a reflection of the poor state of creative expression in Malaysia. Dah lah our own government uses AI art for their own posters. The creative industry is truly underappreciated (and underpaid) in Malaysia.

Hi, if we were all to be silent instead of giving constructive criticism, then no improvements will ever be made. This outfit is objectively a poor choice and shows the racism of the Malaysian olympic committee. Sometimes, negative comments are needed to show that they can't keep getting away with this demoralizing, embarrassingly bad quality of work.
