I am actually really happy that your channel is evolving really well. When I saw the first reviews many videos had just a few clicks. Now you have 50.000+ subscribers and most of the vids make at least 10.000 views. Proof that quality content always succeeds.
We’d love to be able to tell you some grand story about why Ethan wears the fanny pack, something about making a promise to a dying relative that he would wear it in their memory or whatever. But the truth is, he just wears it because he likes it😂
A people’s car! A car for the moderately prosperous generation! Well done China! Now to make it available for the moderately poor in other countries so that we don’t have to buy second hand Japanese and Korean cars!
When your car market is so competitive that even cars like this that are kinda "crappy" also have a nice and decent design. And that interior beats most Asian brands!
@@Fauzanarief-n7i looks nice in your eyes but inside their fake maximum 2-3 years and start breaking down as most of Chinese vehicles. Imo should not compare with Toyota vehicles their are way better in everything.

@@PissMenn not really, even cars made by Vnese brand still cost way more than in China. Hyundai, Kia have factory/biz partner in Vn but its still expensive. Its the tax, fee that government put on us.

I am in Indonesia, I drive Wuling Confero, which belongs to the lowest class of 3 wuling siblings in our country. The lowest class has 3 variants while mine is the highest of Confero. A 1500cc engine, and I am happy with it, almost get all the luxury feeling yet not make me broke.
The Wuling Mini EV along with the BAIC BJ80, and the Hongqi E-HS9 are being exclusively distributed in the USA, Canada and Mexico by Players Club Wheels.
Why keep mentioning it's acceptable considering the price point? It's a lot more than acceptable for the price point, in many countries you basically get a sardine can car for that kind of price.
Another great review! Would be good if you could cover the safety aspect of cars in Chinese market - do they have China-specific safety ratings like EuroNCAP or IIHTS and how do the cars fare in it, how they’re tested etc.?
Skoda might have a case here but this thing looks just right and way more expensive than it actually is. Average buyers need utility, relevant comfort, an engine and no car payments.
lovely SUV,for the price point, looks excellent for exterior and interior and love white seats and plenty of space, if available for australia i would buy it for under $20,000 Drive Away prices, with safety standard for australia....
we just got that around last April 2023. Wuling Alvez is the badge for Indonesia, cmiiw. It shocks Indonesian market as teh most complete & safe with very competitive price compare to its Japanese competitors.
Hi, I have recently discovered your channel on RUclips. I love the videos and watching your catalogue of videos. There is allot of talk Chinese vehicles coming to the UK, but so far we have only seen a few from MG. I am really excited to see more arrive.
Hi, I like your content, but I got some minor suggestions for you: 1. in some of your videos, the color filter is just too heavy, it may ruin the cars' original appearance. 2. to me as a local guy really into car industry, some of the cars you reviewed are barely heard of. I guess the oversea audience prefer to see more popular models (like Xingyue L, Qin DMi...), China market only models (from VW, GM...) and export models' (Nio, Xpeng, BYD, Haval...) reviews in your channel.
A very nice looking and practical vehicle. I really like the interior. Performance is not a big consideration for me as long as it has reasonable acceleration and can maintain highway speeds.
Why do i keep thinking (model wise) i see a Forthing/Fengxing from Dongfeng ? Perhaps it's the side view & tail lights ... I hope you'll visit the DFM T5/T5L in the future. Keep up the amazing work !
I think you are being somewhat unfair here - It looks FANTASTIC for 11k, the trim and seats are FANTASTIC for 11k - The Dimensions interior and exterior are, well, FANTASTIC. For 11k you can just about buy a motorcycle - it doesnt need constant referral to the price point & quality, it is just amazing for that money. Can we buy it in Europe or the US? Does it have airbags? Is it likely to be safe? Whats the fuel economy? If its China only, well, whats the point - it may as well be $200 to buy
Yes, they’re comparable in size, though the Asta is a bit larger than the Boyue. As for the Baojun 530, it’s longer than both of them, but had the same wheelbase as the Asta and is likely built on the same platform. It certainly has the same powertrain.

Okay. That interior was very surprising.
I wasn't too surprised by the design or drivetrain but that interior had me like wow wow wow wow
It is a miracle that they can even create an SUV at this price point.
Cheaper labor and materials readily available in the market
因为中国的人工成本很低,可能只有美国的五分之一甚至六分之一
That’s a VERY competitive car for sure!!! And looks nice

There's a C-NCAP test in China, the terms are quite similar to the EuroNCAP
CNCAP which is similar to EuroNCAP, and CIASI which is similar to IIHS
tbh those cars at this price didn't do well in the safety ratings
Looks great especially at that price range.

There is a manual transmission option for this model, a six speed. Wise buyers will choose that for performance, reliability and cost.

It would be good for the title to read whether it is an electric car or an internal combustion engine car.
ev or not, it's still very competitive
It's an ICE
Yup, electric cars are boring. sadly a lot of videos are about them.
In future, be sure to check the thumbnail of the video. If the text is in yellow, it’s an ICE car, and if it’s in green, it’s a hybrid or pure EV.

Big brands have high overheads.
