  • Here I'm drawing trees 3 ways using markers.
    (1) I start off drawing the trees from above (plan) adding texture and shading as I progres.
    (2) I then draw the same trees from the side (in elevation)
I use a 0.3mm Staedtler Pigment liner / Copic Marker YG25 / Copic Marker G24 / Copic Marker YG67 / TOUCHFIVE dark Green / Copic Marker Neutral Gray No. 1,3&9 / Gelly Roll white
These are the materials I used in this video and in many of my past videos and will continue to use in the future.
I use fineliner pens for most of my drawings I tend to rely on these two brands. The first one Staedtler last the longest you can get them here:

Or Uni pin are also good and slightly cheaper but dont last as long as the Staedtlers. You can get the Uni pin pens at the link below:

I used Copic markers for the shading. I tend to use a neutral grey like the set at the link below:

I use copic sketch markers for most of my shading a colouring. You can buy sets of these or idervidual pens this is the closest match I could find as a set:
Copic Sketch 6 Piece Set - Earth Essentials

This is the paper I am using in the video. Its a Canson marker paper:

And last of all I use a white gel pen to add the highlights I tend to use this one:

Thats so kind of you to say Reigndella, thank you. Drawing is all about practicing some simple techniques and learning to draw what you see. I hope the videos help with this.

And yet ANOTHER video of watching someone draw. If you're going to make a "How To" video you need to TALK. EXPLAIN what you're doing and why. Otherwise its just showing off.

I couldn’t agree more about the talking and explaining bit. Thanks for your comment I’ll take your advice and make sure I use it for future videos. 😀
