    Another outstanding video Aimian! Thanks! If I could make a request, in the last portion of a video (the one where you bring all of the techniques together), could you record a small portion in real-time so I and other viewers can see the speed that you are drawing with your pen and then markers? Love the videos!

    • @AimianArt
      @AimianArt  3 года назад +1

      Thank you so much for the feedback!!! I’m so glad you let me know about this. I do think showing a portion of real-time is very important. Controlling the speed in marker sketch is very important. I will definitely add it in my future videos. and I will try to make note on the video so people can see if it’s real-time or not. 💜

    Another great tutorial! I actually had some modest success with this one. Yay! Thank you for being such a great teacher. I actually had a question to ask, for someone who is a complete novice with pen and marker, what do you recommend I practice drawing first? Are there any particular drawing exercises or subjects that a new artist should concentrate on when he or she is first starting out? Just curious. 😊

    • @AimianArt
      @AimianArt  11 месяцев назад

      Hi~~thank you so much! I’m glad you liked this one. Good question! When I first started. I do lots of small exercises drawing simpler forms like spheres, rectangles, and cones. It helps me practice my line works and marker strokes. Then I do more practices like drawing a single rock, a single tree, etc.. drawing simpler things first always helps! And I will make more videos to show what kind of exercises beginners can do. Hope it’s helpful ✨

    Thank you so much for sharing this, really enjoy watching the process. Do you also do digital drawing too? like iPad + procreate stuff, I'm learning a bit on iPad but I think the skills here (shading and sketch then colouring) can be applied too.

    • @AimianArt
      @AimianArt  3 года назад +1

      Thank you!!!! Yes I do like doing digital drawing. I mostly work on photoshop with my Wacom. I love procreate as well. Hopefully I can make some tutorials in the future as well. You are right the basic art skill can be applied to both digital drawing and traditional drawing. Feel free to let me know if you ever have any questions 💜

    • @AimianArt

      Haha thank you for asking! the paper brand I used here is Strathmore softcover art journal. It is kind of pricy and I already ran out, so I switched to Canson mixed media paper in the later tutorials. 💖

    If it's water-based markers does it change.

    • @AimianArt
      @AimianArt  Год назад

      Not much. Water based markers dries a little slower and blend differently. But as long as following the shading process, the outcome doesn’t have big differences.
