ali.ink , Lol thats alomst to the tee what i was going to write, unreal, i find her voice and her calmness really helps with anxiety along with drawing, and with winter coming and covid still hanging around this is a great way to spend time, especially being alone and nothing on tv anymore,,,,,,I've done some other peoples things as well but this girl explains , shadowing, shapes and how to use them,....you have a great day and keep on drawing....relax

Thank you for such a great tutorial! I really like how you first show how you do the very basic shapes, then more complex then the mountains, it's very helpful. The final picture turned out so nice, I especially loved when you added the blue-green to the mountains, it looked really atmospheric!

Hi, Miss Mao! I really enjoyed watching your Rock and Mountain tutorials. I followed along on these while trying out my new Ohuhu markers (which I love btw!). I just have to say even your practice and test pieces were really lovely. I certainly couldn't tell any flaws!
I really like the mountain drawings too. They turned out way better than I expected. My video editing wasn’t good so the video lighting and color weren’t consistent. It kind of bugs me lol. Thank you for being so encouraging and kind 💜. I’m very glad you liked the ohuhu markers. I used them more often compare to my other markers. Their colors are very good.

Mountains is my black beast. Never been comfortable to draw them.

Colouring the mountains is really a big challenge for me. I can never achieve the look :(

How gorgeous i so wish I could draw and colour like this its truly very good your art is very dream like and have you thought about setting up a patreon page so some of us can donate to you as there must be some new markers you want to buy? I for one would like to help with that so you can keep making these tutorials as they aren't costing me as much as they would if i had to do a course or buy books which wouldn't cover the same level of detail you do i think your tutorials are definitely worth paying a little something towards

Hi jojo, thank you for the support!!! 💜 Yes I have heard of patreon and plan to do it in the future. It will definitely help me to post more. I have been busy with work stuff and I moved to a new city a few months ago and had lots of stuff to work on.
But I really want to post more and do more drawing and painting. I agree that lots of time when you buy books and course online, the content may not meet our needs. And lots of online course are not very detailed unless you buy a whole series which cost a lot. That’s why I like sharing my drawing details here. Making tutorials actually helps me to improve my drawing as well.
And yes i love drawing animals but not quite good at it lol. I was actually practicing drawing leopard last year but haven’t done anything Im satisfied with lol. Im working on tutorials of how to draw houses at the moment 🏠. I would like to finish the landscape series’s by covering more topics. Then I would love to expand the categories such as portrait and animals. But right now I just need to post more and be more consistent haha. I love interacting with you guys here. 💜

Omg thats what im trying to draw and colour right now so a tutorial from you in the future would be perfect and I bet your leopard is still way better than mine. 😁 I do really look forward to your videos as they are the most informative in art on youtube I've truly learnt quite a bit but im still having a few issues with trying not to put too much ink on the paper. I use spectrum noir markers I know they're not the best but for the price they're not bad I just need to get better control of the pens well thank you again for great tutorials they do help us a lot and what better way for you to learn than by teaching I believe you're right that showing us will help you improve more if thats even possible as you're already very good but like a true artist we always think our work isn't good enough. 😁
That’s good to know! 💜 Yes haha I’m also trying to get rid of the mindset of Im not good enough. Painting should be fun and relaxing. Putting too much pressure on ourselves just slow down the creation process. I never used spectrum noir markers. But they look pretty good! I think most of brands are good to use as long as they don’t distort the paper. I will try to make marker strokes and pen line tutorials after the house tutorials. It’s been while I haven’t uploaded videos, my drawing skill kind of gets rusty haha.
