On unlocking: Farming clothes from Hildir require you to recover the brass chest from the Smoldering Tombs to unlock for purchase. Feasts require a unique ingredient which is unlocked by defeating the boss of a biome, using a combination of cooked and prepared foods from that biome. If you've purchased the bog witch seasoning and still don't see the feast, there's likely a prepared food you have not yet held.

a correction the crafting skill does bonus wield armor and weapons! in the new world I made for this update I managed to duplicate the root chest and a frostner by chance, it doesnt work when upgrading. it may look useless in a solo world which is my case, but it does help in case you die and need a replecement to quickly get to your tomb
you can for now buts its being patched out. You can no longer do it in the public test branch and I expect the patch to go live with the game tomorrow!
as far as i know can be handy for extra bronze and shield cores in solo worlds ...i mean unique crafted items thats not equipment , but theres is not much
I'm still hoping that the scythe will be updated at some point to harvest the mushrooms. Just makes sense that if you can farm them it should work on them.
7:25 I CAN confirm that when I was crafting my wolf armor chest piece, I actually was granted a bonus chest piece. This happened three days ago. If that is a bug I’m not sure but you CAN as of right now get a bonus armor piece when crafting. Unknown for weapons

Interesting. So they supposedly patched this out on tuesday and you should no longer get duplicate armor/weapons when crafting. However, this is the first I have heard of weapons getting upgraded for free!? I really like that though if thats working as intended

I'd use the Asksvin cloak if they got rid of the wind condition and just made it a standard speed buff. Until then, you couldn't take this feather cloak off me unless I died. Or maybe made a slowfall mead. I might be coerced with that lol
Weapon crafting nerf was lame tho. Getting extra weapons was nice for decor. Oh also ---- now you gota protect your pigs with a pen or ghousts will kill them early game, as before you had a little more time to build up from drakes or bats. As for feater cloack, just make fire resistance potions and it removes weakness. And fishing still suck......its easier just to go to coast and terraform terrain, so fish jump on top and get stuck.
I think it was a bug originally so makes sense that they took it away. the wraiths raid doesn't start until you beat bonemass (the same time the drake and bats raids start).
So crafting skill is just useless now? An extra 1 arrow or nail on top of 20 is nothing. It really should still pop on weapons and armor but instead of doubling it, just make it lv 2 to start with. Better crafting means higher quality stuff sometimes.

I don't mind it doubling items, I play with some friends and one of them doesn't have a lot of time to play so I carry him a bit and give him the extra items.
Travel around the "ring" that bonemass spawns in. All of the biomes/bosses spawn in a ring around the starting point. I used my thumb as a compass with the tip on the spawn and traveled around in that circumference, found her in less than an hour. Good luck!!
Great job on your videos, but while fishing is more valuable it still isn't worth it -- they really need to change the mechanic of it to make it less tedious, less frustrating, less clumsy, and so dam slow (tedious).

I`ve gotten both an armor piece and a weapon as an extra item from the Crafting skill (Frostner, Black Metal Atgeir and an iron armor piece)

Concerning the Asksvin Cloak running speed increase while equipped, I haven't noticed a speed difference so far. Maybe It is too little or a bug.
only with the wind at your back of 25% increased. Down from 100% before. But it also now reduces stamina usage with wind at your back
