This is what ive noticed with cleave build compared to big bites single target build. The cleave makes the game much harder + it always feels like even tho ur doing big dmg its not enough to kill anyone, meanwhile bite build feels like more bursty and you can solo a resto heaelr alone, but after 30 secs ur kinda useless.
The rp aspect of being fire cat form and dealing fire damage dots is actually really cool

Because everything is nerfed by at least 50% in PvP, some stuff even more.
