Hey Roman, great video btw, I just ordered the Avata with Integra Goggles and DJI RC controller 2, can I use these New DJI Integra Goggles with the Nazgul Evoque F5 03? thanks man, keep them drone videos coming brother!
I haven´t completely finished your video yet, and I´m watching it as a totally new FPV guy except for the DJI FPV and the Avata, which both have gotten me into FPV in the first place. I read and saw nothing but great statements about the rtf configuration of the Nazgul. And I´m really sick of this Avata-bug. But I´m completely new to those real FPV drones. From what I figured out so far though, the O3 air unit is the same camera as the avata, which, at least on the avata, allows you three angle modes. If you have it on wide without stabilization, you can use the gyrodata and for example have it stabilized in gyroflow. Also you can use the same nd-filters from the avata. So there´s actually no need for a gopro which raises the costs and adds weight to the drone. Some comparisons of the two cameras actually left me with the impression that the O3 is even better - from what I expect out of it though. I am looking at this drone as my first real fpv drone as dead cat for better cinematic shots, but don´t plan on a gopro just yet. Maybe in the future, but for the beginning I think the O3 air unit should do just fine. My biggest problem so far is what batterie would give the longest flighttime, which seems to be the biggest issue compared to the DJI FPV and Avata...
Good points! The batteries.. yeah you will get like 4 min with the gopro on top, maybe 5 w/o. Haven't tried the gyroflow, might be a good idea, I know real steady does really good stabilization I wonder how gyroflow compares. Also I would miss the nd filters, but that is not a big deal for most people. The biggest difference comping from DJI would be that you are always in manual mode. So landing is really tough first times especially, because the camera is tilting up as you land so you don't see where you land
Thank you for that review! I have Nazgul evoque F5 with Squashed X frame and in some situations when I need to go really slow my GoPro looks up and I cant capture what i want to capture. And I cant place it strait forward because I will see props on my image. So the question is - have you any problems with your Dead Cat version? I heard that DC frames are little bit unstable if compare with SX frame and when you want to make some freestyle it starts doing some strange moves on yaw or pitch.
I noticed your GPS module is mounted upside down... that's weird, reception should be pretty bad that way... as the "antenna" in now pointing down... to receive GPS data, unless you just tucked it away I saw further into the video. Cant do that with mine, got the ELRS antenna.
Du kannst doch mit der der Avata bzw O3 auch mit einem flachen Profil filmen und später mit Gyroflow stabilisieren. You can also film with a flat profile with the Avata or O3 and later stabilize it with Gyroflow.
Ok, should have finished first. Now I get your point about the two different camera view, actually makes sense, never thought about it that way... We´ll see. Thanks for the video though, you never know everything ;-)
Having problems with Lipo Balance Plugs / Pins getting 🔥 this can happen if your Charging multiple 🔋 on a parallel charger, I found it’s Easy for a Balance Plug to not Have a good Connection when Charging Multiple 🔋 in a Hurry and therefore it Can short out a pin or two on the 🔋, instead of a 6 S the charge Bal/Plug shows 5 S and 🔥 pins. It happened to me so I don’t like Parallel charging multiple batteries at a time for just this reason!
I've had an Avata 2 for around 3 months now. Its been a pretty good trainer. But I will not trust the DJI controller to fly something like a Nazghul. Especially after seeing how suddely you can lose signal when flying fast. You have a chance at recovering your video signal if things get spotty on an ELRS or crossfire controller. But DJI controller signal flops right along with video signal, with little to no chance of recovering.
Hey bro, thanks a lot for the info! I'm watching this as I wait for mine to come in. Wanted to let you know that volume of the music is a bit too high compared to your voice. Makes it a little harder to listen to want you're saying.
This is mostly due to the camera. GoPro 24fps +nd filter +180 shutter angle. With fpv drones you need a higher shutter speed. Long story short its camera settings does not matter which drone it is
Hi i just got the drone and it lose connection out of nowhere 80 meter and just drop out of the sky i am trying to figure the issue can any one help ? Thanks
I've been having same issues actually, super annoying it happens to me at least 5 times. Sometimes it falls out of the sky very close to you. I ended up changing the antennas and also the gps unit with a different brand. Seams to help, but time will tell
So that mean we just can't fly above water at all with those drone .The idea of cinematic freestyle drone is to shoot cool stuff anywhere so i can get beautiful full speed video. Not only that those thing are dangerous if they drop near anyone . I also spoke to the company and there answer is i use the wrong controller and to watch some guys that explain on youtube why it's happening lolol Thanks for the reply will get a new DJI FPV after my trip. My dji broke down from catching a nice wave not falling out @@Roman.the.explorer😉
I know it sucks! I love the drone and still have it and fly it all the time! But hell no I would not fly over water but I'm almost sure in my case it was the gps unit that was messing with the drone because right before it falls it would always say "signal lost". And the company is in China they will tell you whatever just so you get off their hair lol
Hey man thanks for the review. I have the dji googles 2 and the dji fpv remote controller 2 and i just lost my avata to the sea. What will be different from the avata in terms of security features? Can you activate the RTH and pause button like with the avata? Thanks a lot.
Sucks you lost the avata! And no unfortunately with traditional drones such as nazgul you are on your own! So manual mode all the time and it does not hover at all. It will fly back with the gps if it's lost but it will not avoid obstacles
@@Roman.the.explorer thanks for the response mate. I understand. Yeah but avata doesnt avoid obstacles in rth neither. It only have downside sensors. It just climbs to the pre established altitude and flies strait to you. But having the abbility to switch to normal mode when you want is so nice. (And it comes in handy for the landings).
@@lopesdev yeah it will return to home. Mainly the direction the home is lol. It's not as precise as on DJI drones is. It basically returns home the same direction you are. It will not bypass any obstacles
@@Roman.the.explorer oh damn not even climbs before ? That is trouble! I really want nazgul to use with my googles 2, but i lost my avata because of lost signal in the googles, i was flying fast and low and making acro in the ocean when the signal was lost lol. Not even avata safety features saved me from disaster. And i'm pretty good at manual already. I think this hobby is just a matter of time till you lose your drone again..
GPS IS GREAT ON AUTEL / DJI. BUT NOT SO GOOD FOR FPV / GPS RESCUE THAT COMES PREINSTALLED ON QUADS, MOST ARE POORLY MADE AN UNRELIABLE. IF YOU DEPEND ON USING GPS RESCUE, MAKE SURE YOU SETUP AN TEST IT BEFORE YOU FLY ANY LONG DISTANCE. OR WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST YOU WILL LOSE YOUR QUAD , FLYAWAYS OR QUAD DROPS OUT OF THE SKY ISN’T UNCOMMON WITH GPS / RESCUE!
Nice and slow or rip the mountains?

Hi, I noticed that he didn't answer... yes you can bind the goggles from the settings with the 03 unit

nice review thank you! thinking of getting the same drone! How to change angle of camera please? screws?
It's easy! It's tightened by screws and you can adjust it super simple
@@Roman.the.explorer thanks so much, does it tell you the angle in the goggles please or do you have to eyeball it?

Hi Roman, great video! does the fact it is not a deadcat frame mean you can see the rotors in the O3 footage?
I know the deadcat frame you won't see them in a footage on 03 unit but the regular version you will probably see a little
With ELRS, that is where this kwad and the nazgul 6” kwad excel. Loooooong range
How far can you fly with ELRS direct line of sight?
