I love my mark 5 finally getting the hang of it. Only thing that breaks during crashes are the props, lens and battery. Besides that its solid. Tons of power.
Exactly! I crashed heavily and the only thing that got broken was the battery and the battery strap.

@@Kofithetraveler Hi. I have absolutely awful image quality from my O3 air unit on Geprc Mark 5. If it sunny it looks like 720p when it’s slightly darker or sunset it literally looks like 480p. It is like that from the begining. No crashes.
I come from DJI FPV and footage from the same location, same day, few minutes later from DJI FPV is just insanely better - and O3 was meant to be better than DJI FPV camera that falls off big time in bad weather. This O3 quality on mine is shocking. Obviously all the settings checked multiply times, tried 60fps 4k and 120fps 4k too but same result. No errors, no problems, flies like a charm, not overheating, 6min flies on Tattu 1400 6s, amazing stabilisation everything is perfect - but actual footage is awful. Anyone anything?😞 I beg you guys.

That Mark5 flies a lot like my iFlight Nazgul5 V3 O3 6S! It does that crazy launch and then float/hang in mid air forever. It flies almost like it isn't affected by gravity. When I punch it and then completely back off throttle, it just comes down like a feather!

Try rates of 140/900 with Expo 1. if you can get use to that rate it will suit you overall for flicks, juicy, etc... its got a really nice mid throttle mid stick control because of the 1 expo but when you deflect to full you spin at 900 which is very fast. rarely are you full stick deflection with these rates but if you get the timing down you can pull out of anything scary and save yourself alot... plus they are just very good rates for freestyle FPV

@@Kofithetraveler one thing I would also do is learn to make a 3 way switch control beta flight rates profile 1 / 2 / 3. Then you can flip a switch between 3 rate profiles for easy testing. Also if you try the 900 rates. Go up higher and do a full stick roll and get use to the speed. It’s like .25 sec full deflection for a spin so it’s like a quick deflect for a roll. The rest of the area is very smooth so just practice with it and see how it goes.

@@Kofithetraveler I’m no expert, but I think it’s best to have the antenna on your RC and the one on the quad in the same orientation for the best possible signal.

I used the 1400 Tatu battery
With the ChinaHobbyLine 1500 mah 6s I usually get around 10 minutes cruising.

I use GEPRC Storm 6S 1300 batteries and the power (coming from a Flywoo LR 4) is just insane 🤯I am getting 6-8 minutes of flight time, with 4 packs thats very acceptable.

What kind of batteries do you recommend for this drone? Also do you have to use the DJI goggles or can I buy some other brand (the drone is elrs 2.4g)
Hi, i I use 1200 & 1400 tattu batteries for me it’s the best for 5 inches. And It depends on the video transmitter on the drone! I would recommend the Dji fpv goggles 2 or V2 because that’s what i personally use.

i got the analog version and fly it with my fatshark hdo2 goggles
i recently updated my video setup to walksnail so i put a walksnail vtx on the drone and got a walksnail vrx module for the goggles you can use the vrx module with any goggles that got a hdmi input
elrs is for the radio so it doesnt have to do with the video
geprc got tons of options for video transmittion (analog, dji vista, dji air and dji o3) analog is the cheapest here
and radio reciever aswell you can get it with elrs, crossfire and frsky and even without reciever afaik
and you can get it as 6s or 4s version both are good and i recommand getting the version you go lipos for if you are just starting out just go with 6s

I struggle to keep low to ground and stay low. Drone keeps gaining height. More practice needed
U STRUGGLING BECAUSE YOU U SCARED TO BREAK IT. REMOVE THE FEAR AND KEEP UR MUSCLE MEMORY N U WILL BE GOOD. N MAKE SURE UR DRONE IS TUNED FOR YOUR SPECIFIC FLYING.
