  • This new EVOQUE F6 is a large model with six inch props, so plenty of power. It is such a smooth flying drone and has the benefit of the DJI O3 Air unit for great communication and stunning video footage. It also comes in a small Five Inch version called the F5. You can find them at the links below:

    Great video! I purchased this Nazgul F6 v2 thanks to your review. I started flying FPV for the first time 2 weeks ago. With a lot of Simulator practice i was able to start flying it in Acro mode no problem. Love the hobby more then i expected. I decided to buy/use the DJI Controller 2 since its an easier setup. I am still afraid of going very far out and loosing signal. I wonder how much range it actually has using the Controller 2. I set up GPS and it works great but i am worried it will failsafe on me, I believe that if i loose signal with the DJI controller 2 it will failsafe instead of giving me the chance to activate the GPS. Does anyone have good tips/ recommendations to figure out my limits as far as range goes using DJI Goggles v2, DJI Controller 2, and 03 air unit?

    Hello, thanks for yet another great video!
    Please can you explain what's the difference between V2 and V3? I've tried to find it but doesn't seem like there's a clear answer out there..
    Also I tried to find comparison videos but couldn't find any.
    So far, with V3, it doesn't seem to have a Deadcat frame, which is the only 'downside' I see with V3 (since I don't plan on adding an additional GoPro and don't want props in my frame).

      Since this video DJI has QUIETLY acknowleded that the DJI FPV REMOTE and the DJI O3 SYSTEM will sometimes DISARM and cause a drone to fall out of the sky. Hopefully they fix this problem. In my case the battery cell was damaged either in flight or during the crash, so the jury is out on the real reason.

  • @monolith2001
    @monolith2001 Год назад +5

    It looks like a green Chimera 7 Pro. Love every bit of it except it had a raspy sound. I have an Evoque F5D that I upgraded to DJI over the summer and it has been amazing. I'd love to have that O3 system in it but $230 is a lot to spend and I doubt the camera will fit in the frame correctly as the front on the F6 is noticeably different. Seems like one downside to O3 is that maybe only deadcats (also maybe ones like that AOS5 frame) and cinewhoops can really use it as an action cam due to props in view.

For a ¼ of a second everything turned off and back on. Dji went black fraction of a second. I heard transmitter make the noise like it just connected to the drone. Yes, your gear will work. Just update the firmware on your gear. Also, You then have to switch your goggles to the O3 system (look in the goggles menu and you’ll find the option). Then take your new drone, press the link button, it flashes red, then press the link button on your goggles. Hi Captain, can you recommend a good drone for a rusty RC pilot to get my feet wet again but still fly it once in a while? I just want something under 249 grams (if possible but not totally necessary) good flight times, doesn't need a good camera or a camera at all. Foldable, a case would be nice, durable, and brushless. Obstacle avoidance and GPS is a must to keep me somewhat stable. Budget $125.00. I hope that wasn't TMI, LOL. But i do know you're the Pro on all things drones and airplanes too now I see 😀 I'd really appreciate any suggestions you could give me. PS: I've watched you for years now, but on a different account I have. However, I just subscribed with this one too. Thank you.

      It sounds like you are looking for a GPS CAMERA DRONE and not an FPV DRONE. DJI Mini SE is the most popular under 250 gram CAMERA GPS DRONE. If you want obstacle avoidance that works, then you are looking at adding another $300 to the cost, such as the DJI MINI 3 PRO or AUTEL EVO NANO+. There are much lesser quality drones with obstacle avoidance but the avoidance is more a gimmic than something reliable.

    Because you have piloted nearly every drone that has been on the market, I was wondering what you thought about the "drone" incident that occurred in Tucson . . . apparently twice, most recently on February 9th of 2021 approximate first sighting at 10:46 PM local time, and earlier on December 20th in 2016, around 10:58 PM local time. Both encounters were highly similar, and began in the air over Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. The drone outran a police helicopter, and a Border Patrol helicopter of which the aircrew of both crafts said the drone was incredibly agile, with a long endurance and a high flight ceiling, all of that was allegedly combined with an uncanny level of situational awareness, enabling the drone to essentially fly circles around both of the experienced helicopter crews. It has been described as a large quadcopter-like platform featuring a single, dimly lit green position light. Yet, its single dim green light was at the perfect wavelength to be filtered out by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection helo crew's night vision goggles, and the same for the Tucson Police Department's goggles. The drone was able to outrun both helicopters as it flew through military airspace, deftly maneuvered around both helicopters with bizarre agility, and ultimately disappeared into cloud cover above the altitude the helicopters could safely fly. Further, the drone maintained a speed of 75 knots in a 30-knot headwind. One of the TPD crewmen stated that the drone had to be satellite-driven because there's no line-of-sight. The helicopters chased the drone for over an hour, and who knows how long it was flying before the chase initiated. No radar reflection.
    There are many other intriguing details regarding this/these incident(s), but I was curious what you thought about these "drones", if you are familiar with the event. If not, you might find it an interesting subject. Plenty of sites covering this subject, yet RUclips will not allow us to post a link that leads anywhere outside of the RUclips site/platform.

      In the RC hobby, the word "controller" and "remote" is what GPS Camera pilots use to describe the item in their hand (you can thank DJI for that). When you talk about the RC hobby of RC Cars, Trucks, Boats, Helicopters, Planes, FPV Drones, the term to use is TRANSMITTER or RADIO. The only reason I mention this is because if you ask a company about their "Controller" they may not know what you are talking about. So to answer your question... RADIOMASTER and JUMPER make great RADIO's that are ELRS only. If you wish to stick with your DJI FPV REMOTE then make sure you buy an FPV Drone that has the DJI O3 Air unit in it and NO receiver (in other words get the PNP version). If you buy one with an ELRS Receiver, then you need an ELRS Radio/transmitter.
