    you're never too stiff, too broken or too old to start training your flexibility. much respect to Stan for doing this

      He did this to rehabilitate his knees hips and shoulder
      Long story short
      doctors told him to get hip replacement surgery
      But he went to this.man before getting the surgery
      He ended up not needing the surgery after this

    Wow!
    I remember Mark from The 90s, he used to compete in the WSM competitons back then.
    His attitude, discipline and hard-work mentality made him one of my favourites.
    Sadly, he suffered from bad luck, and had a string of severe injuries that ended his career.
    Great to see him again!

    Stan, thanks so much for this. I'm a 57 year old with FAI as well and want to squat and oly lift without killing my hips so I'm always looking for help

      I got a sturdy stick from Home Depot. It’s about the size of a broom stick but slightly longer and it’s a harder wood. $8 bro, it’ll change your life.

    Awesome ! Question : How often Stan is doin' this mobility work ? And what period of the day ? Before, afeter or before/after training ?

      According to his recent videos he does his mobility work twice a week and tries to align it with DOMS he'd get from other lifts.

    Not hating because I find you stuff super informative and a must watch. But why not fasten you laces your feet are move around in a bad way. Look at the angle of the couches foot angle rolling g of his shoes no wander he needs knee straps. Not hating g just saying as a long term lifter that has had bad knees but sorted them by getting foot strong.

    I dont know how he can be so stiff and still be able to lift. I get joint pain/tendonitis fast if i stop all stretching/mobility work and i would still be much more mobile than him :S

      his shoulders suck but his hip mobility is pretty good man keep in mind how wide his stance is

      charliehustlenflow True. Now that i looked the video again he has his legs pretty wide and well opened and still maintaining very upright position in the weighted stretch.

    I think genetics play a massive role. Stans legs aren't as big as the rest of hes body .
