- I know it is easier to get a professional to make clicker dies. But I want to see if I can make some for myself. I found a source for 3 point steel rule and fabri-cobbled a bender and dies together. In this video I am showing my second attempt at making my own steel rule dies to clicker cut leather.
I am always working on building something and try to average a RUclips video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap. Be sure to Subscribe if you are interested in any of these topics, or just making things in general.

Where were you able to find die rule for purchase? I have looked all over to no avail. Thanks for the great vid.
I found someone from New Jersey selling 3 point steel rule on Etsy.
Thank you for that, that's a neat way of making the bending tool.
What's the press you're using?
Hello, I would like if you share a ling where I can buy steel rule for cutting?
I bought mine from a seller on Etsy. www.etsy.com/listing/968708551/3pt-0937-center-face-cf-steel-rule-blade
Thanks for this. It is brilliant! It is exactly what I need. Please can you tell me what the wedge is or where I can buy it as well as the V-die it goes with? Thank you.
I made those pieces myself so I don't know where you could buy them. The V pieces are angle iron I welded a stud on. The wedge is a piece of scrap steel with a stud
@@bransonsgeneralstore thank you.
Hobbies developing hobbies! 😂
It's hobbies all the way down around here.
I tried this setup but the bending mechanism was not sturdy enough. Where did you get the super heavy duty mechanism. I tried every where.
I found a push clamp on Amazon. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ABWUS9O?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Welding the longer handle on made it a lot easier to use.
@@bransonsgeneralstore thanks for your help
Could you tell me where you got the rule steel metal?
I bought the steel rule from a shop on Etsy
Thank you Nice work on the press
