I watched this game live, and once this play happened I grabbed my remote and rewound, wondering: "what just happened?" I finally found the clip on an NFL website, and decided to upload it on youtube. It was amazing.

i was just watching hard knocks when amendola barely made the cowboys practice squad... and now this. just proves how hard work and the right attitude can get you anywhere.
Well played Patriots. They knew if they didn't get Welker they'd have Amendola lined up. What a great signing, let's hope he stays healthy!

I think Danny Amendola will do really good with the patriots.. Tom Brady and the coaching staff will make him a lot better. Just like how Wes welker struggled with the Dolphins before he came to New England. Bill Belichick knows how to spot and develop talent better than anyone.

Excellent catch, but it's not a once in a decade type of catch. Jason Witten made a very similar catch while being covered/held on his left side, he stuck his arm out as far as possible and the ball landing in his hand, tucked it in, and dragged the LB for like 4 yards for the 1st down. Just look it up. I know, like the Megatron discussion, Witten is also expected to deliver like that, and he does, but a catch is a catch. It's just spectacular or normal.
Well, since you just signed Titus Young, I think the Lions should sign Amendola and call it even XD!

@buccola13 you can make a good case for both but the pats (actually 18-0) were considered one of the best times of all time whereas the saints werent as good as they were the year before

We'll see if you feel the same way after 1/2 the next season is done. Tomfuckinbrady will make him a huge star- just like he did Wes. And I LOOOVE me some Wes. The ONLY thing that worries me is if Danny can stay healthy as Wes. Wes only missed THREE fucking games in 6 years- or something crazy like that...

Welker hasn't been a healthy player either. He's had numerous concussions that have gone unreported. It may be the reason he leads the league (by percentage) in dropped balls.
