Jaylen Warren for sure-I'm not letting this guy slip past 6/7th Round depending how my RB Roster is looking at the time.

@@user-eg4mf8tw1h First, I want to start by saying thank you so much for leaving a comment and interacting with one of my videos it means the world to me that you took the time out of your day to watch!
Of course it will depend on how you construct your team on draft day but one BIG piece of information that I did leave out and when discussing with other fantasy football experts that I trust, Warren is a great pick up BUT when the weather is not ideal conditions (snow/rain) the Steelers will prefer to take the ball out of Warren’s hands and feed Najee Harris. And considering Arthur Smith is their new OC and has the track record of playing more than 1 RB, I really do see a pathway where both RBs excel in 2024! But you do have to be careful with Warren when the weather is poor.

@@OutlierFantasy, Arthur Smith is an immediate red flag.. I understand it's a later round pick , the problem is there are multiple potential good backs around these picks and all of them are a guess between which one .. I like Javonte Williams in Denver who could also benefit and be a solid pick .. Chargers will be run , run , run .. Edwards will be the endzone eater , as a stash back , TDs as a backup is all you need

@@thomasott9488 Arthur Smith as a head coach was a red flag but as an OC he is partially (if not mostly) responsible for Derrick Henry’s 2 best seasons as a professional from 2019-2020 and im not stating that Jaylen Warren is Derrick Henry but to say that Arthur Smith does not have experience in developing a good run scheme is just not true.
As for Javonte Williams, its a strong candidate to have a bounce back season but I believe in Audric Estime’s skillset and he could potentially ruin your chances of having a league winning RB. Also while yes you want a goal line back in fantasy, if youre taking Edwards as one of the first 30 RBs or so off the board you’re going to be very disappointed when you are relying on him to score a touchdown every week in order to not wreck your chances of winning for the week.

I'm a Vidal truther so love the call on Vidal. Dobbins already left practice early on Friday. No update since then, but odds of him being productive are very slim. Edwards had his least efficient year last year when they ramped him up to 12 touches a game. He's a zero in the passing game and without Jackson to worry about is he suddenly going to find more room between the tackles? I just cant see him suddenly being a 15+ touch a game guy and he seems more suited to the 8 touch a game role he's had for most of his career. Seems like someone is going to get an opportunity to have a big role in that backfield. See how it develops.

@@tkell31 These are all great points and thank you for leaving a comment! I totally agree with everything you are saying hence why we should be firing up Kimani Vidal in drafts. Im not going to say its impossible this ends up being a backfield by committee BUT if Edwards is not scoring touchdowns (because like you said he is a 0 in the passing game) it is a hard pathway to find value in Gus Edwards again. Fun fact about Gus Edwards I actually went to the same high school as him he was just a few years older than me!

Gus still averaged 4.1 ypc which isn’t bad. Gus is going to get all of that goal line work…that’s what you guys are ignoring.

@@slickrick8046 4.1 on a team with a running QB keeping the defense honest and has never managed more than an average of 12 carries a game. He's a below average RB, a zero in the passing game so he better get goal line carries or he will be completely useless. (Edit, but looking like the Vidal dart throw was a waste so what do I know?)

Again, running QB’s tend to not check down to RB’s in passing situations. Everyone seems to know this but you.
Also, Lamar Jackson has been the lead “RB” in Baltimore. 😂
And it’s obvious Gus is set up to get the red zone work and goal line carries because he’s a much bigger back and a plow horse.
If anyone is a league winner on that team…it’s Gus.

By the way genius, Vidal has been dealing with injuries and missing practice. There’s already best writers projecting him to get cut.

I think Gus Edwards is fools gold and I think people are forgetting that the Ravens are a much better offense then the Chargers.

Thank you for taking your time to leave this comment! I completely agree. A lot of people are disregarding that Keaton Mitchell was a large part in the Ravens rushing success due to the fact that Edwards is a 1 dimensional style runner and will always have another back competing for his snaps.

I am not too sure but Pollard vs Spears is an interesting combination and I think Warren is a great pick based on receptions but I do not think he has the build to be used like a workhorse.
Denver is weird because Williams can actually catch very well in addition to running. Audric though is a pretty bruising back and I would have to see how good he is in pass protection because if he is good in that department he could eat into Williams carries.
