    Funny to watch this video today , because yesterday I was editing a reel watching your previous videos about FCP , I'm learning how to use it and they were pretty useful , specially the way you teach how to manage Media/Libraries , I like to keep things tidy so it helps A LOT ! This comes at a time where I am starting to edit reels. Something I thought you'd touch on is downloading reels that use trending audio and editing to that.

    Awesome video! Question, instead of just turning down the audio, is it best to extract it off all the clips and then delete? Does this keep file size down at all?

    • @stalman
      @stalman  2 года назад +1

      It would be a lot of extra work for not much gain. Plus if you try to match the file size of the camera compression you'll just be double compressing the footage and degrading it.

  • @pughy79
    @pughy79 Год назад

    Great video. Quick question: should you add music here or, uploading to instagram in my case, should you just create your video and then add music when you create the reel in instagram? Appreciate you refer to artlist but, not having done this before, instagram sometimes removes the music which is kinda why I'm asking.... also I'm trying to avoid, right now, having to pay for music (all this is new to me!) and of course I can use the music in instagram when I do my currently not very good quality reels lol! Trying to make better ones hence I'm trying to learn...
