I've been doing Kassandra's yoga for a few months. I'm 56, overweight and have Hashimoto (which means not all physical activity is good). The changes I've seen in my body are incredible. Not only am I losing fat, but I feel fantastic. I wake up in the morning and feel like my body is asking me: "What time are we going to do Kassandra's yoga?" I can't thank Kassandra enough for the powerful encouragement and for giving me the opportunity to challenge my body. I feel fantastic (my doctor is also happy with my blood work and general health). Piece of advice: it's never too late to start something enjoyable that makes us healthy and strong! Lots of gratitude! Cheers from Calgary/AB!

Good morning, great practice with the weights. And I love your advice "keep connected to your breath" because to do it changes completely the practice to a more inner work, and it feels so good. Namaste.
I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis and my doctor told me it is crucial to incorporate weights into my yoga routine. I am so thankful I found this one with Kassandra. please more to help me and other women with osteoporosis to keep our bones as strong and healthy as possible. Thank you :)
I would love more iron yoga! I’m hitting perimenopause and have been told integrating more strength into my workout is helpful. I was intimidated to start using weights, but this was the perfect balance! I felt challenged but not discouraged. You always seem to know what I need, Kassandra!
Kassandra my husband retired from 37 years in the military in 2017 and I am happy to say he has continued his physical fitness with you 5 days a week. I am a weight training, I love the benefits of weight bearing exercises however, my husband has shown me the benefits of iron yoga, weight training, incorporated with flexibility. Hi! Is this iron yoga also for men? I am a man and tried this lesson with my mother-in-law but it was brutal! I could only manage to last about 6 minutes in the lesson when my arms and entire body just failed and my MIL told me to go and rest. My MIL did full lesson powerfully with the dumbbells like in the lesson! Her arms, shoulder, back, core is rock hard muscles, she have unbeatable strength and endless endurance! She has the iron strength!! I feel really low and very defeated 😔

31:59 I absolutely loved this class ❤. A perfect combination of excellent yoga poses for the lower body and strength in the upper body. Even though I was only using 1/2kg weights I definitely felt my upper body working hard. I know this video is a few years old, but if you do read these comments Kassandra, more of this type of practice would be much appreciated. I like using weights and I like practicing yoga 🧘🏼♀️ with you. Sometimes I have to choose due to time constraints, I but not today I didn't 😊✔️💯 perfect 🧘🏼♀️+🏋️♀️. Thank you.
This is my first iron yoga class. I absolutely LOVED it!! I have been following Kassandra for almost a year and her classes are by far my favorite. I always feel at peace during and after her classes, even if my body is hurting!
If you really want a crazy challenge friends, pair this with Pilates with Nicole 15 minute weighted Pilates hitt class… beautiful combo to go from this classic iron yoga style class to a more movement filled Pilates class, getting in long holds as well as quick movements

This workout was no joke. I am a dressage rider and bartender so my legs get worked really hard. I am always looking for a work out that focuses more on the upper body/core and takes it a little easier on the lower. I love the addition of weights and know I will feel it tomorrow. Please do more of these.
Hi Kassandra, feel like giving you a heads up. I keep coming back to this video for years now as it is an awesome addition to my usual yoga-practice. It just has a completely different feeling and is so good to get deeper into the muscles through the weights at certain points. You have also done a good job at keeping it safe. If you have time, I'd really enjoy seeing more. :)

I could only manage to last about 6 minutes in the lesson when my arms and entire body just failed and my MIL told me to go and rest. My MIL did full lesson powerfully with the dumbbells like in the lesson! Her arms, shoulder, back, core is rock hard muscles, she have unbeatable strength and endless endurance! She has the iron strength!! I feel really low and very defeated 😔
